Commander Cody and the 212th attack battalion had some crazy battles and brutal deaths during the Clone Wars. Notably, their craziest and saddest mission was when the 212th faced off against the 501st on Umbara. Don't join the 212th! - Розваги
Waxer's death is still depressing.
Out of any name to chose, why the fuck captain peg lmaoo
@@-RedSpartan- It's a nickname my brother gave me after a bully called me Greg Peg
@@cc_5576 Makes sense lmao, I was just confused why on the name of peg
Waxer :(
Fr him and boil were my favorite characters watching the show. I really hope boil makes an appearance in bad batch or something.
The geonosis scene still haunts me 10 years later
And to think what could happen to them scares me even more
Where you also a kid back then?
Because i was like 8 and the zombies scared the crap out of me.
Gearshift!
@@AspieVert yes I was 3
A kids show indeed
To be fair, the guy who charged towards Krell, was his choice, but still a dumb one
it’s what he wanted
Average NPC moment
i think... that guy was... waxer... 😟
@@praytothehellokittygodsorelse waxer died before they shot krell
Well he lost his mind. He literally killed his brothers
Another reason I like the 212th: They have less plot armor than the 501st
Your not wrong
@@captainrex8949 eh I still prefer the 501st, but 212 will still be my favorite, they don't represent any special forces and are technically just better infantry than the standard issue clone
Yep I would join them for that reason because living a slave life isn’t fun but dying faster will be better.
@@greatwarriorstruggler9447 In that regard, I can't agree with you.
I don't know, Hardcase, Tup, Fives, Jesse and Appo are all dead.
As commander Rex said: ''War does not come with a guarantee. No soldier gets the promise of safety, survival or victory.'' especially for the 212th.
That was Sergeant Crasher
@@joharyr.9282 you are right. Just looked it up hahah oops
@Jello the lion no commander Rex. He was promoted to commander in season 7. Check yourself before you comment.
@@lawoftheland5923 he was demoted by Jesse too lol
*It’s **_captain_** sir*
0:17 I alway thought that this clone charged at Krell so Krell will focus on him so the others can have a clear shot on him, so it was kind of a sacrificial charge
If the others hadnt stopped shooting they could have shot him
they didn’t take the shot😭
212 likes, beauty
He was as clumsy as he was stupid.
then the second he does they all conveniently stop firing 😭
my favorite battalion
And the one that died too much in this video
Utapau is my favorite battle because of how badass they are

Oughhh the screms when he gets cut in half are so… realistic ig.
Amazing really it’s called acting and the whole point. To make it appear realistic
@@T0pMan15 jesus no need to be rude about it jerk.
@@Krejii05 lol it’s called sarcasm look it up
@@T0pMan15 lol it's still rude
@@ruthluss It's not
The 212th has the best/safest gunship pilots/landings out of all the attack battalions
I'd get traumatized if a clone brother was cut in half right in front of me.
Who wouldn’t?
the clones of the 212th are obligated to punch a droid before death
He *TRIED* to copy commander Cody's moves but failed
Listen, the guy who got cut by the door could totally have just dropped down and waited an extra ten seconds for the jedi to carve him out
Oh yea…..
I think he would have fallen into another door opening.
that’s what I was thinking, if he timed it right and the door below him shut he would be like 5 or 10 feet away from them and they could cut through
The Jedi also could of just force lifted him up, but they chose not to.
Funny thing here:
Some poor 212th clone became Darth Maul for a few moments
Some clone from the 501st/332nd became Attack of the Clones Anakin for a minute
That wasn't Ridge tho....
Oh yeah you're right. He got a wall through the stomach
@@christianbryan6961 nah he’s talking about the guy who got his arm cut by the door because of maul
@@ethantorres4061 That's who I'm talking about lol. Originally I thought that was Ridge who lost an arm but I went back and saw he died before that.
@@christianbryan6961 yea
I like how this clone tried more to keep his mate alive than himself 0:13
Always felt that the Clone Wars focused too much on the 501st and the 212th, would have been nice to see more of how other Jedi Generals interact with their Clones.
I agree
Honestly I think they could do more stories like what you envision if they want to return to the Clone Wars timeframe, maybe after Bad Batch.
Like the Wolf Pack.
i would’ve loved to have seen more of the wolf pack
I would've liked to see the galactic marines fighting in mygeeto or in any other place where the battles where literally hell because the closest we got to see what they probably expirienced on a daily basis was Umbara and im gonna take the wild guess that for what they where used to that battle wouldve been a walk in the park.
I would rather join the 501st. Anakin literally is the type of General who would try not to leave a man behind.
neither is kenobi
@@verdun16 and Kenobi losing men is more impactful than Anakin losing men cause the 212th is smaller than the 501st
All fun and games until Anakin turns to Darth Vader and sends the 501st on less carefully planned mission.
@@deeznutz6312 at the contrary, the 212(or the clone force where it belong to) is like three times bigger than the 501, Obi Wan was in charge of one of the biggest forces in the grand army of the republic
We feel they are smaller cause we know less members, the show really didn't give them attention, with some exceptions like Waxer, Boy, the blonde guy(Rys?) And I guess Gregor
Yea thats all well and good until a power hungry ugly emperor does order 66 and the republic becomes the empire
Only really bad ones ya missed were the couple times General Grievous boarded their ship. When you hang w/ Obi-Wan you're gonna run into that guy a lot, and I feel like the guy who got crushed under his foot was having some real regrets
Moral of the story.....Join the Coruscant Guard if you actually want to survive the war in one piece
what about those 4 poor cg's on the 33nd's ship :(
Like Thorn?
@@skar8009 and those guys too yeah.
@@zimma2474 and those clones who Vader tossed out of a gunship
Should've also include Waxer and Boil getting tasked with rescuing Obi-Wan while under artillery bombardment.
RIP : some of the greatest men in the Grand Army of the Republic
You forgot the scene where grievous literally crushes a clones head or neck
What still haunts me to this day, was the clone in the vents that got cut in half offscreen. It was so unsettling and imagining the cut in half corpse just laying there next to everyone is also pretty disgusting
The 212th is basically the 501st's sidekick, and the 104th are the other cool kids.
I would've lost my mind if you showed Cody sacrificing himself in Lego Star Wars
Lego star wars was NOT real in canon.
@@isaacrebellion9893 no duh
Lol
My dude got tossed aside like garbage by lego grievous

The 212th sounds like most of them have dark deaths count me out I will never join the 212th I'll join 501st.
Good luck on your first day at the 501st
I’d like to join the 501st as well.
501rst isn’t much better
Honestly, I would say even though Anakin was reckless. I feel like he would always come back for you even if you were just a normal clone
@@Justin-cw7zf that because 501st was under Darth Vader and appo was loyality in imperial era.
The citadel deaths are really messed up, summary execution, electrified and cut in half unlucky day to be 212th clone
And that's why Obi Wan drinks. And them too.
The best Cody line ever: "quiet rookie"
None of them survived the citadel except for Commander Cody 😢
Rip waxer 😞 he shouldn't of died in the fire fight with the other clones. Always loved him and boil on geonois "why do we always get the fun missions, oh this isn't the fun part getting back to the square is the fun part"
the one who gets snaped on half by the metal doors in the cidadel is one of the most brutal stuff i have ever seen
You can hear the gasp when that clone gets executed in the citadel.
Objectively, more named 212th members survived than named 501st members.
This gave me ptsd. Like bruh i'm in a chronological marathon in Rebel.S right now and I barely remember these because i've recently watched them a while ago
What is the most brutal 212th death?
waxer, or the guy in the citadel who was cut in half by the closing doors
Waxer
Or the guy that got chopped in half
@@verdun16 Id say the Door Clone. Imagine that the door first had to crush his armor and bones before it could sewer his flesh. And even then he would be alive and conscious for a few more moments.
The guys who got eaten by zombie Geanosians
0:38-0:50 R.I.P. Waxer
You missed those weird monster things from the Ryloth arc that started trying to eat the bodies lol
212th exist:
War Crimen: allow to introduce myself
It’s sad how sad how devastated and horrified that clone sounded when gearshift was snagged
The Battalion of Unlucky Bastards
It's a tradeoff between having the master of trolling as your general and the worst luck
0:00 what did you expect? This is a attack battalion not a legion of coward clones
I can't be the only one that thought he said monkey instead of rookie at first? 🤣
212th: We Have the High Ground!
501st: You under estimate our power!
The casualties were so bad that the commissar had to shoot soldiers from the other Regiment. Said by 1 nominus guardsman
I never even noticed this.
0:29 should be the next lego Star Wars death sound for troopers
I had my legion randomly selected from the available candidates because I couldn’t choose. I was placed in the 327th. I know nothing about Aayla Secura outside of her appearances in the clone wars, but Ahsoka liked her. she seems pretty tough, too. I just always pictured myself working with Cody and Kenobi.
Now i think of it they have the second most deaths then 501st at 1st place cuz they are seen more often then other battleions
In a way the 212th were more valiant taking more casualties due to anakin not using his legion for mission that involved more action.but none the less the 2 were very notorious during the war.
Once 212th trooper always a bad luck.
Dude, 212th is just bit always late for mission sometimes, it happened boil and waxer was overdue after hug numa and 212th late for missons to save ahsoka and younglings in ship from those pirate and hondo.
Obi Wan is a great general, isn't he?
How am I supposed to protect all of them
I swear to god, in the Genosis scene where that one clone is calling out the other clones name, Gearshift, I keep hearing wither kitchen or gidget! It's nightmare!
Really makes you think if the writers hated 212th.
I love the 212th and they’ve always been my favorite but man they need to pull themselves together and get some plot armor
I can't believe as a kid I didn't give this show a chance
I love OBI WAN THO... shettt...ahh I guess I'll join the blue ones 🥺
@Nickolas Veleda de Oliveira THE BLUE ONES
This post was made by the 501st
underrated comment lmao
You should do, "don't become a arc trooper"
Big Brain Move, Join the Outer Rim Garrison and get annihilated immediately.
yeah the 501st had a lot more screen time and deaths, but holy crap the 212th deaths were brutal
One of my friends is absolutely crazy soooooo
I’d say he fits in the 212th pretty nicely
And here I am, trying to figure out how everyone keeps track of which battalion is which in a given episode
EDIT: to clarify, yes, I know they are different colors, but I’m talking about when they use the same color because I know that has to overlap at some point (unless we just imply there’s more battalions but not show them)
Ehm.... colors ?
Usually armour colour and the Jedi they're working with. The 501st are Anakin's battalion, and the 212th serve under General Kenobi (he is a bold one).
@@davidskr4924 But I’m sure there’s not 501 color variations. I guess the issue is if there are battalions with the same color.
@@Cometstarlight 501st wears Armor with Blue markings
Waxer's death hits a lot.
they felt like the 501st just they died very unfairly
Dont join 332nd, dont join 212th. Whats next? Dont join 501st?
😏
*dont join a battalion*
*stay a shiny*
The 332nd was the 501st
@@lp2-1official-sss47 no, 332nd was a company of 501st clone
@@kebabmf the 332nd was bigger than a company, there was one company of orange helmet troopers in it called the 332nd company. Rex became commander of part of the 501st called the 332nd division that also had white armored troopers and clones with regular 501st paint schemes.
RIP Waxer. we miss you
called the 212th attack battalion for a reason. to attack lol
I took offense to that
Please say there's a Captin Rex reading this.
Well these clones are military soldiers who are assigned to their respected forces within the program so they can’t “choose” to join the 212th, yet it does now seem very suspicious that the clones from the legion die in very disturbing ways.
Brutal deaths man
When you remember that the clones are basically preteens this is pretty horrific.
Wish I had that warning for GR in Rec Room
i mean, just don't join any of the legions. Cut Lawquane is the way haha
i love that the whole 212th just ends up dead lmfaooo. jokes aside i love them
Yeah, though the fact that a 212th clone punched Grievous and lived to tell the tale offset's this a little bit i'd say.
The 212th is one of the best so they are sent on dangerous missions I would never join that battalion even though they are on of my favorites
Waxers death hit different
Man should of just joined the 327th...
No don’t join the 501st. Half of them were wiped out by the Jedi.
Ashoka: no its my friends.
Yep. There's a reason the motto of the 212th AB is "We die that others may live."!
I would join them 212/10 times ^^
If you’re going by this logic don’t join the GAR
Dont join the 212th, join the 501st or the 104th.
They seem like a strong battalion
My designation is CT-2224 Jek. I am a trooper of the 327th Star Corps
Clone wars focused on Anakin, Ahsoka and Rex. I want an animated show called Sky Core that runs for 2-3 seasons of 22 episodes and focuses on Cody and Obi-Wan. But mostly Cody because we need more Cody.
The red-shirts of Star Wars.
It's not 212th's fault for getting the suicide missions
Commander Cody: *bruh nosies*
Rip Longshot
I wouldn’t want to be any clone during the battle of geonosis
212 was the best paratrooper battalion with excellent pilots
Reminder that Pong Krell is the worst
Oof ty i was going to join it
212th was an elite attack battalion. Of course they faced the difficult situations head on.
I don’t know why that soldier run to pong krell 😂
This makes me so sad
The 501st but without the fun
