Where did you buy your Rodger's Peacock Flower? I want one ❤ You act like me walking in my garden. "Oh look!" 😊 I love your gardens. TON of work, but rewarding!
What a wonderful shade garden! Your artful combinations of plant textures and leaf colors illustrate how to make a spring garden beautiful even before the plants start blooming. I have several hosta varieties, but your collection makes me drool. Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful. Your gardens remind me of home on Long Island. I can't grow a Hosta here in Florida. I always enjoy your video's cant wait for the perennial one. Thank you and your husband for sharing.
What a gorgeous shade garden! Your hosta game is insane...I love them all! It's so promising when they start to emerge at the start of the season.
I am enjoying watching your videos!!))) You are so fun couple!!))))
Hosta collection is amazing!
Beautiful! I agree there's a massive difference between deep shade and part shade. Your dogs are adorable!!!
Thank you for sharing your garden with me. I just love how it’s all coming together and growing so nicely! I love to garden and I also make garden videos. I in my 3rd year gardening. I have so much to still learn. I’d love it if we could learn more from each other! Happy gardening 👨🌾 🌷🌼🌻🌺🌸🌹🐝
Oh my gosh, this video totally made my day! Of course, I say that after watching any video you post because your gardens are all amazing. The hostas are absolutely gorgeous. I will rewatch this video because you have so many different varieties, and I love seeing them all. Truly, you are a gifted gardener…my favorite of all time. If you ever stop posting videos, I will go into withdrawal. And speaking of videos, your husband does an outstanding job with all of them. I feel bad because I’m always raving about your gardens, and he’s the one who makes the fabulous videos so we can enjoy them. Please pass along my thanks to him as well.
How do you keep your hostas looking so good? The slugs just devastate mine! Your garden looks beautiful.
Your yard is lovely! I also love Hostas. I have fourteen varieties, but they suffer in July and August. I lost to Poplar trees and now my yard has more sun. Can anyone name a few perennials that tolerate sun better than Hostas? I had tulips and daffodils in early Spring and now I have some lilies and roses blooming. There is no plant I like as much as Hostas.
"they're great deer food" 🤣
Every garden spot that you and your husband have on your property are absolutely beautiful and very well put together. But I have to admit, your shade garden is one my favorite gardens. I'm a big fan of hosta, Japanese grasses and rocks, and placed in the right spots (and yours certainly are), they are low maintenance, elegant and beautiful to look at. Great video! And thank so you for sharing!
Love love all the hostas and bleeding hearts. God bless
I love your shade garden it is sooo beautiful !! I love limey color in my garden and the bluish hosts. Thank you for the tour of your shade garden.
You guys cracked me up! Love your garden!!!
Omg I'm running outside right now to fix my Sweet Tea Heuchera!!! That's exactly what mine are doing, they pushed themselves up! Didn't know that was a thing or that I can reset them back into the ground. Hopefully now they will leaf out more. It has such a pretty leaf and don't want to lose it.
Some of mine heave up also so I have to replant them
@@lindaga820 Why do they do this?
I just planted my first one, good to know.
I love hostas too!❤️
You have the most beautiful Hostas! Thank you for sharing
I found your Hosta video from 4 years ago. Your collection has improved tremendously!
Beautiful shade garden. I love how you used rocks in various ways throughout. I got some inspiration from it.
Love your garden! Hosta's are are of my addictions. You have a few that I need to add to my gardens. Thanks for you and your husband taking time to show us your garden.
So excited to see your video pop up. You guys have the funniest and most beautiful videos. Thanks for sharing and naming so many plants. Great ending stepping in a poop mine. 🤣🤣
I love your shade garden. You should be very proud of it.
Love your shade garden! I have a hosta garden in my solo shady spot and I LOVE them! I planted it in memory of one of my dogs who loved to lay under a river birch. Your dogs are precious! Hope your baby heals very quickly!!
I always love your tour of your gorgeous Hostas and other plants. This is such a beautiful area❤️❤️❤️
Good job! Can’t wait until the plants mature and spread out to cover that mulch and shade out the weeds. Less maintenance, all fun. I have Eastern bluebirds in my Nestbox! Hummingbirds are enjoying my feeders until blooms come. I invested in a fence to protect my hosta investment. My newest is Curly Fries 🍟 and I use beer to trap the slugs. Happy spring!
Beautiful!!!! Love it!! Love your enthusiasm!
Such a glorious garden! So much work well spent!! Never seen you so happy!! Love ❤️ the banter! 🌺🌹
Hey Guiding Green thumbs! You have to admit...you did looked a little ‘Sus’ when your hubs came up on ya in the beginning of the video..😂 Quick question-I have several Hostas that outline my entire pool and they look beautiful in the spring/early summer but then they take a turn by the time Fourth of July comes around and they look Brown and Burnt..I water them like crazy but it always happens to them... I have at least 80 Hostas in my yard in every shape, color&style I love them but I’m debating on removing the ones around the pool?? Any suggestions....
Shade them
@@KC-cy9dd I was afraid you were going to suggest That...😩 would ya have any good ideas to add with them to create shade?
I ended up removing them and placing them in a shaded area.... but what to put around my pool is stumping me..
@@alw5101 can you plant taller foliage around them, over them? Pots with taller plants to shade hostas?
Отлично, спасибо что поделились, однозначно дружеский Лайк. Забегайте на чаёк!
Your joy and giddiness about the shade garden is a delight to see. I can sense that you are so over the winter and ready for everything to start blooming; you can barely contain yourself. Cheers
Such an amazing shade garden, you've inspired me with all those hosta. I have a limed up blue spruce, and a mimosa tree next to the pond, I've often thought about planting a shade garden there, thinking now it's about time to do so. Sorry your dog was hurt, looks like a panic happened as well, glad she's healing nicely. Hope you all have a wonderful week ahead.
Your shade garden is my inspiration for my shade garden I am putting in right now. I will be happy if it looks half as good as yours!
Absolutely gorgeous garden!!!
Helloo pro gardener! I love your videos! Just an IDEA...Could you do a VIDEO on " Neptunes Harvest FERTILIZER ", when, and HOW you apply it around you garden???!!! I have never heard of it before. Do you use this on your hosta garden? I have always heard of ESPOMA, but not familar with Neptune. Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden with us :)
Beautiful! I am a hosta junkie.
Very pretty shade garden. Love it! Great JOB! You are so RIGHT that shade garden needs some sun, too! Without it, most of the shade plants wont do well from my short garden experience.
I just bought Curly Fries today!! Love your excitement!
Absolutely beautiful garden Shelley! 😍 I have had a few hosta and love them, but have so much deer pressure it's hard to pull the trigger on buying more. However I hope to add an empress wu and that beautiful sum sensational you mentioned. Thank you! 🌱
Have you the exact name of the Japenese Hakone Grass? Confusing as there seems to be many different names and I would like to have the same varity as yours.
I love your garden! Cant wait for the new ones coming up for 2023!
Very pretty what do you call the metal things you have to keep dogs from stepping on plants looking for some but don't know what they are called thanks
Hi may I know where did you get those 2 metal cages next to your hostas. I really love them.
BEAUTIFUL!!
Have you gotten into heucheras at all?
Can bare root hostas be planted in the fall instead of spring? Your garden is beautiful
Hey Sherri will friend request so see more messages thanks
You made me excited to get outside today and plant my bare roots that are way overdue to be planted. I have a hulk hosta, some lungwort two varieties and a pink cone flower, some flowering ferns, a Japanese bottle brush with pink blooms so thank you for the motivation to get moving. Also your garden is just stunning. And I can totally relate to the excitement of seeing new blooms. I just grab my boyfriend and show him every bloom and he pretends he cares lol!
We are in bad drought her in south Texas, expecting rain finally and cooler Temps a relief from the 100s .I'll be like you soon but I think I'll find lots of tragedies.
Beautiful hosta shade garden!
Beautiful. I adore hostas.
I just Iove watching your vlogs. You get so excited and I love, love, love it. My garden and weeds got ahead of me. Thanks for sharing.
I love hostas, but I have no shade ☹️
Beautiful shade garden. Well done! We have Anna's hummingbirds year round here in western WA. The Rufous come back in March. So I'm always filling their feeders. I plant lots of flowers for them and love having them in our garden.
Love the staffybull
Hey guiding green thumbs! Do you have any Black lace elderberries in your garden?
