When I had no license there was no way I was going to invite a pullover. I never drove so safe and smart as I did when I drove with no license. Shit,now that I don't drink,smoke weed, and have my license and insurance I drive at about 87 MPH all day,I never get pulled over.
I don't know where you live but in some states if you get caught a few times for the same violations like speeding your driving privilege will be taking away, just because you have license doesn't mean you can do whatever you want. driving is a privilege not a right.

You don't need a license to drive if you are out of country, just an IDP. They didn't specify if she had one or not, but it wouldn't surprise me if they didn't even know that. I have a friend from Germany who had this issue trying to explain what an IDP is to an officer who looked at him like he was stupid. Had to raise the issue to a superintendent who was also clueless and had to look it up. Funny enough the only issue he has ever had with his IDP was in California. California is probably the single worst state in this country.
