They exude an aura something nostalgic and futuristic at the same time. Maybe because of their body suits are so 80s but their dance choreography are very sexy and mostly hand gestures which defined the album more

Everybody gets points for this. The SNL sound guys are brilliant, as always, along with lights hair and makeup. Points for coming up with a different arrangement...ya never know what you are going to get. Dua did great. I liked the " Oww" ending.
I love how Dua is inspiring other people who look like models and can sing, that a career in the music industry is possible even if you can’t dance to save yourself.
This is why I'm such a big fan of Dua. She sounds like her records live and she can perform on stage (choreography) without faltering. True performer and artist!❤

She sounds like her records live because half of the time her performances are lip-synced. They're pre-recorded vocals to sound "live" especially when she's doing heavy dance routines.

@@thomaskittock2866 not for nothing, traditionally, most major TV performances are either lip synced or there's a 'saftey' vocal running on a playback rig backstage. The reason for that is more to appease sponsors of the TV program rather than feed the artist's ego. Bad performances are a bad look to the people that buy commercial time for variety shows but you still gotta book popular artists, even if they're kinda fugazy. There has, however, been a trend in the last half decade of more artists actually wanting to perform (the ones that can sing a bit) instead of rely on playback, on these smaller promo junkets (like SNL, Today show, late night talk shows). I know this because I'm a playback op for a some of these. FWIW, she may actually be doing this live as her pitch is a bit flat for a lot of this performance. Very noticeable at 1:32. I still like her songs though and honestly she's not doing anything different that pop artists have done forever.
