It is good to see, how well you prepare your horse (and yourself) tp have everything ok for challenging jumps: a really good jumping saddle (9:40), safe girth, spurs in place - and at 11:13 the stirrups, which seem to be quite high for such a long legged girl (look at 11:53 - but let us see, how well she sits). The she has her crop with her and mounts from a block - extremely soft sit in. Well done, Hannah! Jerry will repay for that.
    As to your jumping:
Now one can see, why you use so short stirrups: When cantering between jumps, you don´t sit in the saddle (as most riders do) but canter standing in your stirrups, thus putting no weight whatsoever on Jerry´s back - and he tells by body language, how much he enjoys your light and soft ride.
And I admire your jump at 16:13 - just a pole on a barrel, no side limits, nothing to help keeping your horse in line, as there is the danger, that most horses would prefer to side pass that jump. But you must be absolutely certein, that Jerry will jump that, when you ask for it. You rely 100 % on his well behaving loyalty and obedience - you must trust him beyond any limits.
And he justifies your trust in him by clearing that difficult jump in perfect style (16:23) with you, Hannah, in excellent position and soft landing.
That is a performance very few girls would dare to try - but you were perfect, as was Jerry!
I love your photo with V-sign at 17:14: Yes, you were the victor, the girl who did everything in a perfect way.
Finally my congratulations for jumping a ditch so well at 17:32 - you did a good job in making him do that!!!
My only question : Jerry is so lively, forward moving, ambitious - why do you take spurs and crop, which you never use?
(Or would he become lazy, when you stop threatening him by having those torture instruments?)
Good luck for your future show jumping and eventing - looking forward to very good results!

Hannah Lucy Take it as an opinion of a viewer, who watched this video and your riding several times to find that you are an excellent rider, Hannah, and who wanted to tell you, what he felt and which sections of the video impressed him most.
You have won a fan in Germany, who is so fascinated that he subscribed to your channel and who hopes to enjoy many more riding videos.

Hannah Lucy you have a beautiful horse their! I do have a question about the back tightness? I have a nice mare that also suffers with this issue. For my mare I have found that regular chiro/massage therapy has been very helpful for her. Has your horse been seen by a chiro/massage therapist? I can see the soreness that another commenter noted and I'm not trying to get on your case or anything. We have all been their at one time or another when it comes to horses. I do believe your horse would benefit from a good adjustment and massage if it hasn't been done yet. I know that with my mare she tends to throw her withers out of line which shows up as stiffness in the hind end and reluctance to turn to the right or left side depending on where the problem is. I also know that if I were to try to ride her when she is saying ouch! I would be launched into the next county! Your horse is a beautiful saint can I have him? LOL!
