Its crazy its been 20 years, time flys by soooo fast, i remember in the UK they made a big deal about it when it first came out and they showed the first two seasons and then NOTHING, after that you had to pay for internet channels to watch it so it took me years to finally buy the blu ray set and watch them all. Iv enjoyed it more now im an adult
And the very same day of the Flight 815 crash which the Finale explicitly revealed as Lexi has since discovered. It important for new viewers to remember this date since most flashbacks on the show occurred prior to this particular date, and explains why there was no social media or smart phones seen in any of them. (e.g. recall the scenes where Michael uses a payphone, or Locke uses a landline or a desktop calculator, etc).
Its interesting that the boat named the "Elizabeth" returns to the Island on the very same day as Libby's funeral. Perhaps that was a way for her late husband to say good bye.
You asked "Isn't there anybody new in this show"... Actually, there is... I never saw a single show that adds so much new characters in each season ! Season 1 : The island, Ethan, Arzt, Danielle Rousseau, the smoke monster, Anthony Cooper, etc... (and they're even added to the survivors of the flight Oceanic 815 who were all new characters, of course !) Season 2 : Desmond, Ana Lucia, Eko, Bernard, Goodwin, Libby, fake Henry Gale, etc... Seas... No, I won't make any spoiler 😉😁😁😁😁😁😁
I understand Eko, but this is painful to Locke... Eko doesn't know but "Do not come back", this is word for word what Locke's dad told him... He told him "Do not come back ! You're not wanted !" 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔 That's probably why Charlie found Locke in tears !
Happy 20th Anniversary "Lost". ( it premiered on September 22, 2004 ) Here is some info to add to your conspiracy theories." Like Libby's husband, David Hurley's imaginary friend is named Dave, as in David, Libby was in the mental hospital with Hurley, and Kate's father ( not her biological one ), Sam worked along side Kelvin, when he first met Sayid. 🤯 🤯 🤯
Its curious that the original Swan Orientation film was a 16mm Reel, where as the Pearl hatch Orientation film was a Betamax VCR, suggesting that the Swan station was older than the Pearl station.
The passing of Libby's husband David is the Show's simplistic reason for Libby later being seen in the Hospital. This is because the actress was not available to film a proper complete backstory for the series.
You know it just occurred to me. Lexi might make a very good actress. Her dramatic facial expressions are exactly what is needed for most movies. Her expressions of course are genuine, but it shouldn't be hard for her to fake them for a movie. All she has to do is remember a particular dramatic scene from Lost or GoT and she could nail any audition. Plus her appearance is very camera friendly. So I could easily see her in TV or Movie opposite Brad Pitt or George Clooney, or even opposite Jorge Garcia.
There is a very tiny connection between the 4 toed statue and the Beechcraft airplane that Locke had discovered, and the Black Rock. Cannot explain it due to spoilers. But I think most will figure it out before the end of the series. And to those who have finished it and don't see the connection, well, keep thinking about it.
First, thanks for your restraint in not posting spoilers; second, it's nice to see people that have a better understanding of the show than the typical viewers (I saw your response to some others with good info, while also not dropping spoilers. I wanted to support your comments, but it would involve spoilers too)
I watched this on tv once & dvd 3 times & I've never been able to hear the bird say hurley's name but i watched this with headphones on & hard it for the first time
Yeah, that was not at all obvious on first viewing. I think the same bird "said" the same thing in the S1 finale and I didn't hear it then either. I think after that one I went online and writers were talking about the "Hurley bird" and I didn't know WTF they were talking about.
@@T-ON-x5h I mean, I *THINK* it was confirmed by the show writers, but I was actually thinking of a writer for Entertainment Weekly discussing the show, among other internet chat.
It didn't say Hurley. Some fan just thought that and asked the writers on the fuselage forum. They thought it was funny that somebody could even ask this and thus they adressed it in the season 2 finale. It didn't say Hurley, just like it didn't crap gold.
I appreciate you watching the 2-part finale in the same sitting for us. In most cases it's unnecessary, but I think it's particularly essential for the S3 finale. So just keep that in mind 😄
"This guy and Susan would get along though." I like to believe that there's a part of Lexi's brain that is 100% devoted to hating Susan. Every hour of every day, awake or asleep.
No. The bird said "Hurley." And another bird said it back it season 1, I just can't remember which episode. I think it was in the Dark Territory of the Island, near The Black Rock.
@@kuhpunkt yes, it did. It's even referred to as the Hurley bird by most fans. In fact, it makes a VERY special appearance WAY down the road in a certain Blu-ray bonus material.
@@FLQueerLiberal1982 It didn't say Hurley. It just made a screech. Then some fan thought that it said Hurley and asked the writers on the Fuselage forum. They thought that was funny and as a response to that they made Hurley (often the voice of the audience) ask it here in this episode - with Sawyer making fun of the thought, debunking it. That's how it became the "Hurley bird."
Do you need them not to press the button? Because, Eko is pretty sure every character on the Island is going to die. You were upset when Ana Lucia and Libby died, do you want every other character to die as well?! The other option is that it isn't real. In which case, when the countdown ends, nothing happens. And I guess Eko will feel kinda silly? Especially since the visions told him to help John. That'd mean the visions aren't real either. But Eko believes because Yemi appeared to him and Locke is their visions, and told him it was important. Eko founds his brother's body here, in the plane which hid the Pearl. If the visions are real, and not just some weird hallucination, then the button in the Swan is important, just as the visions said. But it is binary. Everyone dies, or nothing happens. Those are the two options. The "Hurley bird" (as it is referred to by fans) was in the Season 1 finale as well. It makes its return here. And yeah, its screech kinda does sound like Hurley. Kinda. Hurley saw it and commented whoever named the area they were walking through "Dark Territory" was "a genius". It was around the time the smoke monster attacked. We know of characters who were infected. Presumably, Robert who was Rousseau's boyfriend and Alex's father was infected. And being infected led him to try and shoot Rousseau, forcing her to kill him. And according to her, the Others are carriers. But clearly, the Dharma people believe in the infection too. So, are you saying you want to see someone we know become infected? Because, from what we've been told, the results are not going to be pleasant. And Desmond didn't say how Kelvin died, just that he did die. Huh. Luckily, the episode isn't over yet. Guess it's time to keep watching.
Locke is really boring. When he believed that the button had to be pushed, he made it his goal to convince people to follow him, even those who didn't care, but now that he doesn't believe in it anymore, no one should do it. So selfish. He spent a season without knowing about the button being pushed. It would be so easy to let Eko do it if he wants and go back to the jungle like before. But no, the others don't know, he's sure. He's an idiot.
Yes he was being selfish. But Fenry's mind games finally got to him. Locke had to be sure that not pressing the button was inconsequential. The only way to do it was to force Eko not to keep pressing it. Locke wanted to escape from in his words, being "rats in a maze". But he could have easily not given a F, and just let Eko keep playing the rat game. However, the insatiable curiosity of the Button's true purpose got the better of him. He wanted to ultimately prove that he was no longer being a sucker.
I thought I was the only one without doesn't like locke, Lol. I feel bad for him due to his flashbacks, but he is the most selfish person on the island. And a hypocrit for always telling people what to do (or he attacks them), when he demands no one tell him what to do...can't go into other reasons due to spoilers.
Happy 20 years everyone ❤
