For maybe a year, I have been curious about Grease Pencil for art and animation. I'd searched around UA-cam, but I never found an explanation that I could understand...until now. This video was super great. I understand most of what you did, and I think I can do it myself. I started animation with FireAlpaca and then Krita. I like them both, but this gives so many more possibilities. I love how you can animate the layers with effects. From using Davinci, I understand keyframes, and I understand what is going on. I think this is so exciting.
Wow! This tutorial was amazing. I have to get back into blender for a project and you got me 90% down the road. Wishing you all success! And thanks for the video, and sharing your wisdom!
Nice tutorial, clear & concise and very professional - thanks! I’m considering what software to use for some 2D animation, the section where you rotate around your animated sun has convinced me blender is far superior than alternatives (eg SynFig, Pencil2D, OpenToonz) with its animation always embedded in a 3D environment 🤩💪
He is a very underrated blenderer.😢
This was my first time with grease pencil. Easy to follow. Exciting to go through. Encouraged to learn more. Thanks so much.
