Lovely looking spot for Gilts and Mullet, the catches will come for you putting in the hours. My first Gilt last year was 15th March so I'll be out any time soon for a shot.

Was seeing the mullet tugs and wondering how far do you let them go, a speculative strike or wait till they slam the rod over. ?

@@bassmansbountyfishing yup sounds good. As for the treble trolls I always live by the words from stings song, " an Englishman in New York" where the line goes " it takes a man to suffer ignorance and smile, be yourself no matter what they say"

Do I need a coarse licence to fish for mullet?
At what point fishing estuaries do I need a EA license?

The answer is no BUT I believe the upper exe(tidal) is club waters so you have to join to fish it

Another great video Paul, Totally agree with comments in relation to hooks. I lure fish from time to time and have changed most of my lures to single hooks or cut the trebbles
