I rented a 2023 Overland for 2 months for work. Put 5k miles on it. Had a great time. Everyone has a different exp(i got 28mpg highway). Hopefully they get Jeep on good footing. I enjoyed it.

I just recently purchased a new 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon X- listed for $71,300. We drove 57 miles to this dealership as they advertised the lowest discounts possible. We were there for several hours and finally settled on $61,700 out th e door. Our new vehicle was built August 2024. We already had a price in mind before going there and had contacted our bank earlier!!!! We also got $35,000 for our 2021 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. So we made out great. We liked our Gladiator but parking in our garage took up a lot of entra space. We only keep our vehicle for 3-4 and are well maintained!!!

I’ve owned 3 gladiators 2019 and 2 wranglers before that. No major issues and overall reliable. My overland diesel was maintenance was starting to get little expensive but that as my best truck of all time. Actually sad I got rid of it. Currently driving an old school max tow sport. Love it. Jeep does need to find ways to lower prices ASAP

Agree with your road test assessment. I'm a longtime Jeep owner. I test drove a 2024 X 'Extreme' with 35s. I don't like the fact Stellantis will only ship the 2025 X 'Extreme' with a manual trans. Stellantis really screwed the lineup with their lack of insight to the American markets. The thing I really despise is Stellantis has loaded our jeeps with Alfa Romeo electronics. Good luck with that... I'll keep my 2013 Rubicon JKUR10A.

I had to trade in my Jeep because I lost my job and income. Hopefully, I can get back to Jeep one day. Riding down country roads with my son in the back seat and the top down are memories I’ll never forget and ones that ended too soon.

Same dude. 2014 JKUR. Still runs like new. Had some upgrades over the years to keep up with maintenance. Recently got a rhino rack pioneer rack for roof tent and holding stuff up top. I can't justify these cost that now and obviously that pricing is not going away ever. So I'll run this old girl until it dies.

If i could purchase Jeep, I would ditch all V engines and go with all inline engines. They are more powerful and definitely more durable. Auto trans would be available in all trims just like manual trans would be as well. I would also have more colors and actually keep the colors instead of making them limited time only colors. I would also ditch the 4xE until someone can make the hybrid range available up to 300 miles on a charge. 27 mile range for a hybrid is ridiculous.

As a Jeep Wrangler owner (21 Willys) as well as my Girlfriend also has a Wrangler 20 Rubicon RECON. I will say this. They never should have done away with the Mild Hybrid version of the 2.0 Turbo or (2.0 eTorque) I found that the MH variant of the engine is far better than the standard version and the V6 eTorque version as well. As far as everything else goes its apples and apples. Solid axels, Body on frame. blah blah blah. Only big differences, Gearing, maybe transfer case options, so its just a matter of how much money you want to depart with.

It took Bronco to get jeep to give us power seats, tells you alot about Stellantis.... I don't care about jeep traditionalists who want bare bones vehicles, they can give you that, but for $70k+ I want power everything, comfort and good road manners including being quiet at highway speed with great off road capability. It's doable... would be proud to own at that price if they just gave us that... make the front windshield affixed permanently, nobody opens it anyway, it's not 1941, make a version that doesn't have the top removable increasing body integrity and quietness, make the power sliding roof quiet like Audi... their charging enough for it... step it up and they'll all sell...

Putting the price aside, jeeps have issues. Imagine paying 70g knowing its going to probably need repainted in 4 years along with the hood, doors and tailgate replaced. I'm not sure if they fixed the battery issue yet. I drive a 2020 rubicon and it would be hard for me to justify buying another.

The 4H auto sucks so bad after shoveling snow off my driveway it would slip and spin and not go anywhere. It has the Ko2s. Going to look to replace this thing. Not impressed for a 70k vehicle. I will not recommend to anyone. Stick to traditional 4WD system.
