The Iron Warrior almost sounds sympathetic with that quote.
I tend to think that the Thunder Warriors were mostly frothing berserkers. That at time. Were needed to fight all the horrors of dark advancement made by various human factions. It seems like they were a made as a necessary evil to fight evils both made by us and against us. It may be that, Khorne became noticeably more powerful during their time.
Yo, you guys are killing it. Production value, video pacing, perfect blend and balance between commentary and board watching.... easily becoming if not, one of my top favorite 40k channels. On another note, I thought Primaris was going to squash.... but wow! What a close match! That’s even with some really gnarly dice rolls.

The double ones on that first Orbital Bombardment really hurt my soul.
Orbital bombardment is the dumbest thing ever made and deserves to always forever fail. It requires zero skill or thought and an embarrassment to an already OP faction

Nick took a week off work to edit one of these last two releases. Tak took a half week off work but had to put in a solid weekend as well. So, this was a taste of what dedicated hours could do. The channel keeps growing so maybe one day...

Seeing Stephen say "there are ways to mitigate dice rolls..." is a great evolution from the guy who received the "Yes, you are rolling badly; But that's not why you're losing" in the S1 Championship playoffs.

Yeah as a guy whose played a lot of dice games... dice win or lose games when the players are equally skilled. Like good tactical decisions are important but being lucky is always better than being good.

@@nickkohlmann Barely saw this, Was a 1000 point game and that war hound came charging acorss the board at my 5 man squad of pathfinders, in the first turn it shot the other 4 guys to death and then by glory of the dice gods (and a shit ton of luck) The little path finder that could managed to make all his saves

You guys forgot to use the relic shield rule on the captain when he takes a mortal wound on a 4+ he ignores it.

I love these short (as in not 2 hours) bat reps, they show the fun and interesting parts of the game, but skips a lot of the unnecessary stuff.

Have you tried Tabletop Simulator. It's a full 3D physics based tabletop simulator and it has a thriving Warhammer community. I play it all the time because my LGS is also shut and I also play board games. You pay for TTS but all the board games and everything else is free.

Nah, he made a bunch of mistakes. He should've disembarked his assault vets from his Land Raider, and not doing so cost him nearly all of them when they otherwise would've all survived that turn more or less in charging range. He also forgot how overwatch works in this edition.

@@moonsaves He made mistakes. And the overwatch thing isn't new, UM had that in 8th. But landing more of those dice rolls would have made a huge difference.
I feel like the best compliment I can give is you have made battle reports SO much more watchable. Very entertaining, great pacing and production values, and very clear what’s going on each turn. The announcer is great too!

I absolutely love this channel - I try to find time to watch lots of different Battle Reports on UA-cam and support the community and its creators, but few channels make it so easy to do so - right, concise batreps that capture all the best moments and discussion, and some of the best displays of sportsmanship in the hobby in every video!

Great minis, setting, filming, editing and very pedagogical players explaining stuff as they play.
I used to play Eldars (Ulthwe) and Imperial Guard (Catachan) in 2nd and 3rd edition in middle school and high school, stopped because of my studies and never got back into playing. Thanks to your channel, I have got my old army out of storage along with a load of unpainted minis.
Not sure if my 2 year old twins will allow me enough time to get back into the hobby but I am planning to paint a few minis as a relaxing activity :)

Was hesitant of a marine vs marine game which in the past wasn't always fun but 9th edition and the incredible way you guys do your battle reports really guarantee a fun time. Just need more reports, with the pandemic I've gone through everything in your library. I need more.
