We recently remodeled our primary bathroom, but it lacked a tub shelf for a cozy, relaxing bath. This woodworking project is incredibly simple and fully customizable to your tub size and luxury preferences. I designed mine to hang slightly lower than pre-made ones, using several dowel-reinforced miters for a unique "dip." Additionally, I incorporated a permanent, foldable iPad holder, along with spaces for drinks and candles. I also wanted this bathtub shelf to look like a piece of art when hung on the wall so I added some colorful inlay to the underside. I love keeping in the silly mistakes of drilling into the wrong side, multiple times! We've ALL had shop days like that, where the brain just will not cooperate and the simplest, routine things start to go wrong.

Ideal for the wife when she's working from home and having a Zoom meeting whilst in the bath. Next project needs to be an attached filing cabinet and somewhere to store pencils and pens etc.
