I would like to see the finished product with the changes. I usually just embroider anything out on a scrap to get rid of the oil. I would be afraid to do a project after I oiled my machine. All that said you do great work!

I’ll keep that in mind for future videos, I would definitely show it if the changes are big. Luckily the foam took one for the team with the oil on this one and thanks for watching!

    Great work!
Thanks for sharing your dimensions in metric. I watch other embroiderers and most will be .18 to .2 line spacing on puff. I have seen people try .15 but they had a bunch of thread breaks. Just an FYI.
I watch Erich Campbell on Friday afternoons, he is an embroidery wizard, and shares a lot of his knowledge. One tip I got from him was to lower the cross bar on the A to keep it from closing up when doing small lettering.
    Keep up the hard work

I like that idea for the the “A”! Yea on the puff spacing I’ll be all over the place something with the numbers but always worth to try out. Honestly never see that persons videos but I will definitely check em out. Thanks again!

Before the video started I was definitely confident the Tajima will get that done no problem. Nice solution for the problem you encountered with the A. Post your IG on your video so people can follow you!!

Thanks! I ended up just doing another hat, unstitching tiny messy stitches like that takes a long time. I saved time just re running it

112 are the same as any other material issue is some older machines dont allow you to adjust the timing of the pressure foot, Barudans and newer Tajima have the this feature built into the cap mode it not only rotates the design bit changes the timing to the needle it out of the cap before any horizontal or vertical movement of the cap. you can run 900-1000 all day also use a 75/11, no need for a 80 unless your using 4mm or high dense foam.

Mmmmm good to know, I’ve only heard of the “digitally controlled pressure foot” feature that lets you control the pressure foot height but my model doesn’t have that. Makes sense though it wasn’t too tough although I would be running it that fast

I'm struggling with how to digitize small letters

Yea it’s tough I’m no pro but usually I remove all underlay and change to a 65/9 needle. If not I’d rather just make the letters bigger if the customer is okay with it
