“Gansta!” 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I just love you!
Congrats on the upgrades..!! Sweet set up.! And THANKS for your detailed account of your thoughts on each piece.
Thanks for watching!
Awesome video...Currently looking to upgrade from a RH 4/1 press to something bigger. I was looking at some other RH presses but this video may have converted me to an Anatol. Thanks for your content. Super informative and real.
Glad to help! Thank u 4 watching!
I ended up getting the lightning and just ordered the solutions dryer. Cant wait to start using the dryer. Thanks again for the informational videos!!!
Apprecite your videos so much!! thank you!! i see in the comments these prices , just want to verify with you if they are correct?
$7,000 press
$5,000 flash
$8,000 dryer
$4,000 exposure
if so, what kind of financing do they offer?? like a car 72 month kinda offer or different?
The total cost for all of the equipment back then was around $20K but it's possible that the price has changed since everything is costing more now. You don't have to start out with all of that equipment I started out with a set-up that cost $150 and made a lot of money as I learned to print. I started screen printing around 2008 and upgraded equipment a few times before I got this equipment in 2020. The financing would depend on you. You can get financed by your own bank or go through whatever company you are purchasing from if they offer financing. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching
Please can you give me the link to the company you get your machines please.
Thank you sin the video is awesome. Stay bless! God bless the print squad and stay safe
Thanks for watching!
Great video Sin, it is full of important information. Very well done. Stay blessed!!!
Do you have a link for that screen press ?
Hi Sin, great shop tour and equipment description and analysis
Thank you Anthony!
Nice equipment. After watching your video We ended up ordering lightning ourselves and like it very much . We are looking to update from our little buddy dryer. What is the model # of the dryer you use?
My dryer is the Solutions 2404 conveyor dryer
Happy for you. Your shop is looking great. You have many blessings still coming!

Thank you!
Great video, and exceptionally detailed! Does Anatol sell complete shop packages including screens, inks and supplies or equipment only? Their site is very limited with details. Everything requires reaching out for a quote.
Equipment only. If you need the full package you may want to try purchasing from one of their resellers that also offer supplies.
@@TshirtChick let me search for some. Thanks

How is the press holding up? I am thinking about buying the thunder just because there is so little information on the lightning.
I'm loving it! It took me a minute to figure out some things because I upgraded from a different brand that had rear clamps and this one has side clamps but not really any issues with it. I have several live streams posted of me using the press if you want to check it out in action. Although it's not their top press it is built like a tank and I feel like it will last forever. Hope this helps.
@@TshirtChick yes it helps a lot. What about pallet deflection or printing fine halftones, does it work as it should? :)
@@pingo9183 I haven't noticed any pallet deflection, like I said this thing is seriously built like a Tank and holds perfect registration. I have not printed any half-tone designs with it yet but I can't see why it would not be able to. I think the halftones would mostly depend on your exposure unit and screen mesh count.
Thank you for the video. I've learned a lot watching your channel as an aspiring print shop owner.
I'm currently comparing the Anatol Thunder 8/8 to the Riley Hopkins 350 8/6. What are your thoughts about the Riley Hopkins comparable model?
I love my Anatol. I think it's the side clamps for me because you can do so much with them. I see you can add side clamps on the Riley for about $1,300 but they seem short compared to the ones on my press. Imma leave a video for you to check out about the side clamps and how you can do a lot with them. ua-cam.com/video/y-Dc9-gZbBc/v-deo.html
Hey Girl! Having had this press for awhile now, I was wondering, how do you like it? I am ready to buy a new 6/4 after 17 years of using an old Workhorse Mach 4/4 and I'm not sure which press to get. Thanks so much for any info and keep the vids coming!
Hi Scott! I love it! I wish I would have got the Anatol first and I would have never had to upgrade.
Unless the upgrade was an auto.
Hello, one question why you chose the lightning and not the thunder ? thank you for your videos
Yeah I have same question
Price mostly
You are just awesome for doing these videos for us to learn always know that..I've learned alot watching n will continue..
I appreciate that!
Is what is referred to as EXPOSURE UNIT same as a LITHOGRAPHIC CAMERA ? l like your presentations, keep it up , we are making progress
I have an Anatol Thunder, the heads are the same. I ended up cutting some 1.5" x 1.5" lumber the same length as the bar your side clamps attach to. Sometimes use one sometimes two pieces per head to give the squeegee a better resting position. Also I use one across the the screen resting on the first set of knobs to rest the squeegee closer to the print on chest prints or face masks.
Thanks for the tips!
I actually kinda did the same. I randomly had some wooden paint spatulas you get from
Lowe’s / homedepot and just ran them across and taped them where I needed them. Works out great.
Thank you. Fellow southern printer. Just wired my 2404-7800 Solutions dryer. Trying it out tomorrow for the first time. Can you do a little something on the settings in a video?
What do you need help with? Its very simple to operate but it took me a minute to get things set up correctly with the lowering of the heater cause i didn't want it to be so low it would burn hoodies. I like to keep mine where I don't have to adjust the heater at all but I can either slow the belt or adjust the temp. Let me know and I'll try to get it done for you.
@@TshirtChick I dropped my temp to 725 and my elements are 3.5 inches from belt. Ran hoodie and didn’t burn. I’m at 30 secs. Things are coming out at around 390 degrees on the other end. I’m trying to dial it all in. Going to do some polyester dry fit type shirts soon. I know the shirt and ink will be a completely different time @ temp setting. I think I’m going to get a donut meter so I can get a accurate temp and time @temp. So I don’t have to waste shirts as much.
@@shaunspivey8718 The shirts need to reach 320 degrees to cure so I usually make sure that the heat gun reads around 350 degrees. With polyester it does not take them long to reach temp it's best to use low cure ink on them an you will have to lower the temp and maybe even speed the belt up a bit.
The easy grip can help you with the squegee situation as long as you buying long you can find it at lowes home depot any hardware store even amazon
Thanks for the tip! I actually have 1 I need to get more!
A lot of UA-camrs have gone red. They must have given you a great price.
What's the cost of the anatol lightning?
It depends on the set-up you choose. You can go to this link for more info www.richardsonsupply.com/anatol-lightning-manual-printing-press.html
I'm going to visit Anatol this week. I'm seriously thinking about buying all Anatol equipment for my studio.
You won't be disappointed!
Gangster Sin lol you did well, very detailed with your experiences with certain equipment you had and used thanks for sharing stay safe and Bless
LOL! Thanks for watching!
Hi, what a good video, I am in the process of buying an Anatol Thunder 8x8, and with the data you give me I am calmer. as for the weight ... imagine that the Thunder is heavier than the Lightin that you have hahaha
If it's not heavy that probably means its not of good quality.
Hey Sin ... Hello 👋 from Aussie Land ... magnetic Island...WOW upgrade is understatement...CONGRATULATIONS
Hi Elizabeth! Thank you!
SIN another DYNAMIC Instructional video. JUST AWESOME. Keep INSPIRING stay INSPIRED
Thanks for watching!
Hi Sin thank you once again for a wonderful video
Thanks for watching NiLaja!
Awesome Video very informative great review
Thanks Karen!
move the pallets in a inch or so towards the middle of the press and you can get your screen closer to the back of the clamps so your squeegees want fall over. but how would I know I'm just watching.
My bad Irwin Quick grip long size because the ones I got were short
I have the gas shocks on mine and I don't like them .. after a couple of years they wont stay up they all fall down and you can only buy them from the screen press company at a high price I added springs back to mine.
Wow! I had a Ryonet silver press for several years with the gas shocks and never had any issues. Thanks for watching!
They do go over time! Same thing on clamshell presses which sometimes have a combination of traditional and gas springs.
Also, keep an eye out for Irwin Quick Grip bar clamps to go on sale at Lowe’s/Depot etc leading up to Black Friday. You’ve probably seen others do it BUT Connecting one to the side clamp with the bar facing inward will allow you to place/rest your squeegee in a more efficient spot. When you don’t have to reach all the way to the base, you save time and energy especially for smaller prints like left chest and locker patches.
Super blessed !!!!!
good job
Thanks
Good video sin thanks
Thanks Jessie!
Did you pay extra for the lasers?
I Think they come standard on anatol presses.
Awesome!!!
Thanks KJH!
That’s
$7,000 press
$5,000 flash
$8,000 dryer
$4,000 exposure
Thank u for watching!
