- EXTREMELY IMPORTANT : Change your P7 value to 1 to engage Power Start. Its a feature that'll launch your scooter into the stratosphere. The user manual that comes with the scooter has the values backwards, it says 1 is normal start when it is indeed, powerstart. Use it on the road only, if you use it on the dirt this will happen (see above video*).
I'm bummed about the quality of the footage too, but I had my Gopro in the settings that I use for night mode, so we're in 1080p :/
Love the FPV footage. I didn't see the EUC (electric unicycle) in the video, but they are a lot of fun :)
Oh there was just me and 1 onewheel in this video. I did see a EUC today on my way to work, but alas no GoPro.

I bought a OneWheel a couple of month ago ! OneWheel is crazy ! One Wheel is so crazy that I had to by a D6+ ! Lol

Yup! My handlebar assembly had cracked entirely. I 'm looking to return to scooter now. Don't ride it on bumps or off road, Its a piece of crap and will crack. I'm really mad and want an Ls7. I can't believe the alloy they used on this scooter was so cheap.

It was on! But honestly the EBS sort of throws me off when I need to be really nimble because it takes about a half second to kick in after you touch the brake lever.
How can I find it on my d4 3.0
What cell phone app are you using for the speedometer? and what cell phone holder are you using? i cannot find a cell phone holder that can fit the fat Handle bar.
The cell phone app is called GPS Speedometer and Odometer by COOL NIKS in the google playstore, and the phone mount is almost exactly like this, amzn.to/2qqFPCd . I can't say for sure though about the phone mount being compatible because I got mine a few years ago and can't find it on Amazon anymore. But, like I said its almost exactly like the one I linked above, I'd be surprised if that doesn't work.

Where do you buy your tires and brakes pads for your nanrobot? I can't find a place that sells them.
I didn't own the Nanrobot long enough to need to replace them. I got rid of mine quick as it broke in just a few weekss of ownership

@@Jackrichardsvids bolts were sheering off. Stem cracked and one of the front suspensions was stuck.
@@GingerOnWheels yeah it doesn’t seem like it’s built to handle off-roading long term. I just bought one with 130 miles for $675. I took it off-roading first day I got it and popped both tires lol, it was easy to replace though which was nice. But it’s crazy powerful with the dual motors. I just put power start on and it’s actually insane Idk if I can handle that kind power haha. Well see how long it last before I sell I’m only gonna try to keep it on roads.

How is the range for off roading? I’m looking to order the d5+
I wouldn't recommend the D5+ for offroading. But that's just my opinion, you do you baby. Range for the D4+ off-road can vary widly. Between tires spinning, and lots of small bumps it's between 12 to 25 miles
D4 for off road d5 for street...however d4 works fine for street also.. I'm settling for the d4
I have a chance to pick a used one of these up for around $850-900 with a seat attached. Do you think I should pull the trigger? It's around 3 months old apparently. I have read what you said about the customer service now so I figured I'd ask you. Thanks
Absolutely I'd grab that for 900. As long as it's newish. Expect about 1500 or 2k miles before you get a serious issue. Lots of DIY required but for the price they are so powerful that it's worth it. Customer service is non-existent, I hate them, they just waste your time and might end up sending you a part that may or may not fix the issue after a month.
The scooter is fun, just plan on doing all the troubleshooting yourself if you run into a problem. Otherwise , Enjoy!

@@GingerOnWheels I was actually considering the wolf as well. But I'm sort of torn right now on if I even want to buy a scooter or something else to commute. I guess I'm in one of those bored phases in my life if you know what I mean LOL. Plus that wolf is pretty expensive. As far as the Nanrobot it's a little hard to tell... I'm going off with the guy says. He says it's about 3 months old but who knows? I'm a little concerned because there's no warranty as well after what you told me and what I've read about the customer service. Again thanks for all the info 👍
@@eiseyem I know what you mean about being bored in life. That's why I initially got my D4+, it broke but I knew I loved scooting so I just pulled the trigger and got the Wolf warrior. Never regretted it. There is an affiliate code in the description to my review video, if you use it to buy the Wolf I'll venmo you $75.
Beware though ! The wolf is on backorder because if coronavirus until mid March. That other scooter for sale you could get now ...
@@GingerOnWheels Thanks man. Ok good to know 👍 I actually have one in my cart at fluid Freeride and they keep pushing me via email. They just sent me $100 off code two days ago as well. So I guess all in all I could get it for like$ 2399 or something like that. But again for the money I'm just trying to justify if I should get that for practicality. My commute is only four and a half miles to work. But I've been also recently looking into those dual sport Chinese motorcycles like the CSC tt250 you can get for around $1,800 to $2,000 dollars delivered fully assembled. It's only a 250 but from what I've read about some of them they're pretty reliable. But as compared to some of the other bikes I've had in my time it's tiny motor wise. I'm afraid I might get bored. I have a message out to the guy with the scooter asking if they're still a warranty on it and some other questions so who knows if I pulled the trigger I can put around with my daughters on that when they ride their scooters. That sound it makes on 0:38- 0:40.. Is this Normal? Mine (hikerboy urban turbo off road) does that too and I feel like it can fall apart every minute. :-/
For the Nanrobot scooter it was. The spring suspension on the front didn't have any sort of damper and it would clang against the frame on larger bumps. Maybe your scooter has the same type of front suspension ?
@@GingerOnWheels It's exactly the same noise so i am thinking you are right. I am not pleased with it. Think the zero 10x is the best for off road..

I have a crappy d5 I picked up for 150$ and got most of the important stuff working but I googled the P7 setting because it's actually wrong in the manual. Power Start on should be 0 and off should be 1.. according to the manual. I thought I had it on but wasn't very impressed with the speed off the line acceleration so I changed it to setting 1 and it rips now. So anyone who has it set to 0 thinking that's the power start mode ....nope just set it to 1and hold on.
You got a scooter for $150?! That's a steal. Almost like, stolen cheap. 🤐
The battery was thought to be bad because although it would fully charge it would die after riding for about a minute or two. I left it on the charger for over a week and it came back into balance. At least that's what I think since it seems ok now.

I weigh 130 and only use power mode. I took it on a 3 mile trail today, tons of fun. I added a street tire only to the back wheel so I can engage dual motor off road and up hills. I gotta d6+
D6 seems like a slightly more decent build than the garbage I had. Mine broke in like a month. The street tire in the rear seem like a fun idea!
What model are you riding? X4 2.0/ or D4 or D5. I’m looking to buy a Nanrobot x4 2.0.

@@Mike-nk1nl if it's fun that you're after I would highly recommend saving up for a dual motor scooter. The nanorobot X4 is a 500 watt single drive scooter. Even with a 1000 watt single drive scooting isn't going to be thrilling. You really only start to feel the power when you have two motors. The x4 is a simple commuter and nothing more.
