Metallica still exist. But I no longer fuck with Kirk Hammett, ironically enough the first Tool concert I went too I was seated right next to the sound booth and Kirk was a surprise guest in Hawaii, complete asshole. Metallica still clears Tool though.
@@AndresSanchez-pp3ho I was just drunk and mad at the time. But I was elbow length away from him all concert, I asked for an autograph toward the end of the show and he just didn't even acknowledge my existence and walked away.
“That guitar MAKES you feel that”-Exactly how to describe tool! It’s not music you hear it’s music your soul feels. Combined with genius vocals and percussion it is bliss on repeat for eternity. Love watching you become a Tool student!
You're so lucky listening to TOOL for the very first time. One of the best bands ever. All 4 band members are chuffing elite at what they do. Skal 🍻🍻🍻🍻
Anyone who gets down like Nathan here understands how special this band is. His rocking out to this is exactly how I feel. The changes in the music make me feel exactly like Nathan Brown looks. Tool grabs you. Nathan was an instrument during this video channeling it. I saw that. It made you say "PA-WAH". That same "PA-WAH" was what I was thinking too. This is the most technically rhythmic band. Intense. It rings your central nervous system. When you were catching the climaxes in the song, you looked like a Buddhist monk on nirvana. Like someone way deep. That's what this music does. I saw them live in 1995 at Lollapalooza. They sound exactly like they do on their studio albums as they do live. I saw Soundgarden that day too. Wu Tang Clan and Jane's Addiction were also playing. What a day!
My brutha... you gotta check out the drum cam video of danny carey playing Pneuma if you want to be truly blown away... it's one thing to hear this man play but its another to see it in action
I so love your reactions!! Tool what a journey and you have only just started. Makes my heart smile seeing your love of the complexities of this band. Keep diving into this band and NInie Inch nails you will not regret it!
One of the most fun things to watch in first listen videos for Tool is how everyone's reaction is always surprise/confusion. Tool is the uppercut from the third hand.
Love all of your reactions, going down the rabbit hole of your reaction videos and they are very authentic. That being said TOOL is ridiculously indepth with their lyrics and musical notes. 👌
Somebody made a video with a crazy TV evangelist screaming about covid-19 and jamming out to Tool. It is hysterical. Please try to find it. Love this channel.
I remember when I started drumming all them years back and thought I’d learn some tool songs they sound doable - Hahahahah 🤣 fantastic drummer never misses a beat even live he is like a metronome
Maynard always writes the lyrics LAST. Once everyone else if happy with their part in the mix. He then sits down and figures out what he wants to say and how.
3:37 So I had a bad bout with the flu and was hopped up on Nyquil during this part of the music video Nyquil should be up there with LSD that shit had me allllll the way fucked up 😂

@@rickyism1576what'd Kirk do? Usually Lars is the culprit of hate

Cold silence has, a tendency too, atrophy annyyyyyyy... SENSE OF COMPASSION!
This is one of my favorite lines Maynard has ever written.
Literal poetry
Between sup-pos-ed lovers.
Betweeeeen sup-pos-ed brothers.
TOOL is a top 10 all time band!
They’re up there with the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rush…..
I wish I could listen to Tool for the first time again.
Blew my f'ing mind in college

Korn sucks dude
@@thrawl Kool story bro, act like I care, and tell me all about it. :)
This is the first song I ever heard from Tool like 20 years ago and still hits to this day
Watching your eyes try and get the rhythm figured out at the beginning is essentially how we all feel listening to tool for the first time.
One of my favorite songs from Tool 🙌🏼💯 the video is wild.

"Eulogy" is the one of the absolute best from "Tool."
Absolutely love your Tool reactions brother. From southern Oregon US
FIIIIIIIIIRRRRRRRRREEEEEE 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
For me their masterpiece goes 2 ways, the grundge or aneama.
07:30 that's a pretty good description, its like a really good Kung fu fight scene or something, but in proggy metal form hahaha
So glad that you pronounced the name of the song correctly
Best band bro!!!!!!
Somebody made a video with a crazy TV evangelist screaming about covid-19 and jamming out to Tool. It is hysterical. Please try to find it. Love this channel.
that quiet bit is guitar effects and preset electronic drum pads that he plays with his sticks
Tool and especially Maynard are true artists
Rage Against the Machine - Down Rodeo
One of my favorite reviews from you! If you like Tool, you have to listen to Pneuma by them
Like 147 time signature changes
Great reaction!
The day has come
Yay I was hoping you would do one of tool or puscifer
Syncopated my Bruddah
TOOL to me has always been the natural evolution of combining Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd.
And maybe a little bit of Black Sabbath
I cant unhear it now, along w maybe sabbath in that combo
Nice moves bro!!!
💚
You should definitely try 3 libras by a perfect circle. I think you'd love it

track is a masterpiece. pronounced "skism" btw. you looked a bit confused at times, but i'm glad you were feeling it and trying to find each groove 😁
