Jesus, that xmax, I'm jealous I don't have one. One question: Why are you using car audio at home? Couple of Orions paired with some high-end amp sure is expensive af. Not to mention the hassle with that power supply, the power cap, the battery, wiring it all up, etc. Why don't you just buy couple of high end home audio subwoofers, like SVS oder XTZ?
I don’t wanna use weak expensive home audio when this will literally demolish them, while I can use it at home I can also use in the car, and I just use it at home because I’m 16 and not aloud to drive yet
nice man i got 2 of the w7ae 8s not long ago i will say one thing i dont like is the recommended specs for a box are awful these subs really shine in gigantic enclosures tuned low giving them a perfectly flat response for example a 2cbft box for 1 w7 8inch tuned to 24-25 will give it a range of 21-98hz at -3db with being in 0.5+ or - from 22-85hz.
You’re absolutely right! The thing about it is that they don’t give you the specs for their HO boxes since those are patented, but those boxes are huge for the woofers, bigger than the box examples they give you on the pamphlets. If you could somehow get the specs on those HO boxes and tuning frequency you would have killer bass!
@@blazedlegend my subwoofer doesn’t play frequencies above 59Hz but I didn’t set that way intentionally I was just trying to send the lowest frequencies my 5 inch bookshelf speakers can handle well I ended up getting the best bass sound in the world
