Dumb question. What does bobber stopper do? Should it be there for all Texas rig applications or just flipping?

It keeps the weight next to the bait so it sinks properly in cover without the weight sliding down the line.

Great question, Bob is right about using it in cover to keep the weight connected to the bait to reduce snags. That being said if you are just fishing rock and not cover it’s better to leave it unpegged.

Good job Daniel… I remember catching big bass at Canyon back in the early 90s….. maybe been there once since then

It’s a tougher lake to fish but there’s big ones around for sure!

I dont know what kind of back pain you have or why you have it but maybe wear some supportive shoes...orthotics possibly as well. You seem to catch a lot of fish in those Crocs though. 😄 Great video as always!

I love Canyon even though it's been tough for a while now it's nice to not deal with all the boat traffic sag has and catch some quality fish some of my best bags were out of that lake.

It was way less crowded than Saguaro, Pleasant, or Bartlett that’s for sure

I usually don’t weigh them when I’m not in a tournament but it’s been so long since I’ve been to that lake I had to see.

I’ve never wanted to guide but that’s probably the only way I would ever decide to do it. I would have to charge a premium for sure
