🔔 Reminder that a free Palestine is still worth fighting for 🍉 I've included even more helpful links in the description to learn more about why the decolonization, liberation, and preservation of Palestinians is of the utmost importance, and I urge you to get involved if you haven't already.

Our Wives Under the Sea is is one of my favourite novels of all time. It's spooky, but also has such beautiful characterwork and such a relatable representation of how grief and a traumatic experience can change the dynamic within a relationship.
I can also recommend Chlorine, A Haunting on the Hill and All The White Spaces. All great novels that deserve more love.

I can't recommend The Seep enough it was one of my top books last year, the trans rep is absolutely phenomenal, the way it influences the story echos Nevada by Imogen Binnie

I'm so glad to hear this!! And I hadn't heard about the _Nevada_ inspiration before, so that makes me even more excited to eventually get to it 🥹

@@perpetualpages I don't know if it was influenced by it, but the way that being trans is handled feels similar to me!

Our Wives Under the Sea is so good!!! I listened to it all on a road trip last summer and listening to the submarine chapters while in a car for hours on end definitely added to the claustrophobic atmosphere 😅 It's one of those books where the dual POV chapters are paced and plotted so well that they make you want to keep reading and reading to discover what happens next. I also read both Beholder and Chlorine recently and had mixed feelings about both, but I do think both are still worth reading!
