The series as a whole has been increasingly more lackluster with each passing episode. Lazy is the word I'd use to describe it. The writing has become cliche. The animation has gotten lazy. The sound design and OST are unsophisticated. The English dub's voice acting seems lazy and uninspired, they sound disinterested. Mari's voice actor almost sounds like Siri, or an AI reading the script with direction. They waste characters. This show seemed like a good concept they got excited about, and decided halfway through they could half-ass it and people would still buy in. Seems like the studio was just wanting to make a quick dollar, but didn't really care about the finished product after the first two episodes got the buy in they wanted from viewers. It's too late to hype up everything around the last two episodes. They may be great, but as a whole it's a failure for me.
