Zhordz Zhordz, it has nothing to do with house EQ. He recorded his first album in my hometown, and I’ve heard him in person 10+ times; his voice is an unbelievable gift. It’s simply amazing.
I came here for Sungha but was blown away by Jason all over again. What a pleasant voice with just perfect execution of everything he adds to lines. Love this duo.
Koreans are soo polite and respectful just clapping along to the music. Not only in this video but to others I've seen as well. Beautiful well mannered people :)
If you haven't seen Jason Mraz live, you MUST. Music runs in this man's blood, while the guitar and the piano are merely extensions of himself. It's an auditory and visual treat beyond measure.
Sungha Jung's finger style is nothing short of amazing. It is wonderful to see mutual respect between artists and be able to learn and grow from another artists technique. What a great acoustic performance.
+Santiago Costa I absolutely love this. I have done sound work and I can tell you that this audio was taped with multiple microhones and the final product mixed in a studio. Bars don't have the acoustics to allow great unmixed recording. The same is true of the camera work. Its very professional. Seeing Jung and Mraz play this wonderfully is great music and they have done a good job in the studio afterward. There is nothing amateur about the audio or the video.
His voice is incredible live! He recorded ‘Waiting For My Rocket...’ in my hometown, and played a couple of songs at a blues night; people were stunned.
Who's watching in 2023? This is an amazing collaboration where the west meets the east! I won't hesitate, it cannot wait! Super performance! Super vocals and super guitarist! Gamsahaeyo (thanks in Korean).
i like Jason being so humble, about someone else doing his music.. But then so far Jason is well respected among his peers in the industry for being just a nice lad.
Even though Sungha played a few flat notes, the amount of professionalism he took in covering them up was perfect and the raw emotion in his playing really makes this one of the best acoustic videos on UA-cam.
every performance has errors its just about how you keep flowing throughout the song and avoid accidents, its what my guitar teacher preaches about whenever i gotta play for people n etc..
One of the best examples of humility, and the brother hood of music which binds all of us together. Would it be too much to ask to let the musicians run the world for a few decades? Could it get any worse? No. Would it likely get much much better for most of humanity? I believe it would. Absolutely brilliant, talented musicians, hey? How cool are these guys? So humble and respectful. I miss those two traits we once celebrated in the US.

So humble yet so good singer. Jason you are worthy of praise just like you lifted up a gifted fingerstyle guitarist veteran. Both looks perfect and harmonious. Good to have you both in such extravagant treat to your fans. Iam one of them. Hurray.
It’s not unplugged but my favorite songs to listen to are the acoustic versions. Most songs are written starting only with acoustic guitar then everything else is placed around to make the song whole. The best is just raw playing with friends on the front porch or living room drinking and having fun.
Just popped on Sungha's UA-cam page and videos from 2007 still had the location of where I left off ... WOW>>>> And Sungha... Mad respect! You have grown into the legend you deserve to be!!! 13+ yr. fan!
Jason Mraz live is damn amazing, way better than the in studio. I highly encourage you to go see him live if you have the chance, he puts on one hell of a show ;)
This is what music is all about. I love the fact there is no bass guitar thumping away. This is so cool, clean, and what a performer Jason is. I am a trumpet player and found an instrumental version by Herb Alpert -worth a listen. Shows how great songs can be adapted, like the Beatles songs can also be. Nice to see real musicians with no egos respecting each other.
Wow, what a cool dude to go to South Korea and jam with a youtube star from over there. Plus what a humble dude to say that he learned about his own song watching this guy play it!
