Watch a seal pup struggle to climb onto my surfboard! I mounted a remote GoPro camera and these posers seemed to know exactly where to perform! It had rained that morning and the slip n' slide ensued. This is nature's story of struggle and perseverence. Does the villain prevail? Will Spotty triumph? Watch and see! These condensed clips occured over a period of about 30 minutes.

THIS IS THE CUTEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN! I can't even begin to remotely conceive how people think this is animal abuse. It's just a cute video of sea puppers trying to get atop a surfboard. :3
These guys are very shy of humans. I set my cameras on the board long before the seals arrived... while they were out catching fish on their own at night. Thank you for enjoying it!

Aww! I felt so happy for the little spotted seal to get on the board! Btw, the black one with spots closer to the camera than the other two was so mean! He pushed him off!

Thanks! This was with the Hero2. I had to hit record in the dark before the seals arrived for the day. The seals had to show up within the first couple hours after daybreak before the battery would die.

Cool! No need to wait.... you can live vicariously via West Seattle's seal "Blubberblog". They give very frequent online updates with photos of seal sightings in the area.

I just realized their ears look like holes and they just look weird the rest of them is SO ADORABLE!!!!
That's one way to tell a seal from a sealion seals have holes for ears while sealions look more like a dogs would. seals also cant walk on land like sealions can
