Painter here, I make sure to always take off light and electric plates to paint the wall underneath. No real painter would cut in an outlet like this idiot
The reason why special paint can openers were invented is because painters don't know how to operate screw drivers
Nothing like being an electrician and taking those outlet covers off along with some paint from the wall…
Not taking the outlet covers off before painting is just pure laziness

Before anyone asks, that's a pretty average pool at the beginning of the season. Yes, that much dirt and growth and that color is normal. It's gross but normal! Our pool always looks similar.

Just because you “can” cut in….doesn’t mean you should.

Don't "cut in" around outlets and wall switches. Instead of being a lazy person, remove the cover and do a proper paint job.

The pool cleaner did it WRONG. Look how cloudy the water was. Way too much debris left when they started vacuuming.

Not Satisfying at all
Yes, lets sweep all the leaves off the roof. Then blow everything down to the ground and all over the house and anything else down there.
Then I can go down to the ground and clean and rake up the huge mess I made down there.
Really smart.
Everyday I see, so called professionals doing the same thing.
And I think to myself, how can people be so ignorant.
They are doing double to triple the work. And making a bigger mess than what they started with.
It just doesn't make sense.
Their profit margins got to be like 5 to 10 percent.
I've been cleaning gutters and roofs for decades.
And I have a 6 and a half hp shop vac. With a extra extra long hose. With the top of the shop vac hooked on to a large trashcan with a trash bag in it. The trashcan is strapped to a hand truck.
I go up on the roof and my helper stays on the ground.
And follows me around and changes the bags when full.
It's so much faster and cleaner.
Then when I do hose down the gutters and roof.
I make sure the gutters are all clean and open.
But before I do that I hook extensions to the downspouts to take everything straight out to the street. Instead of making another big mess all over the customers yard, driveway or walkway. That I would have to clean up.
It's called common sense.
Which most people don't have.
They see some clown doing something a certain way. So they do it that way.
Monkey see monkey do.
My profit margins are 60 to 70 percent on roof jobs.
I can almost survive with those margins.
I say that because, just like in every trade.
All these no nothing clowns have whored out their services to where true professionals like myself have to bid jobs so low that it makes it very hard to make a descent profit margin any more.
Oh well.
Live and learn.
