i used to work at a hardware store and a customer came in one day and he was explaining his problem to me about needing to clean out, it was either two or three inch PVC pipe, that was running underground that was just being used to water plants and stuff. And so I came up with the idea to buy a paint roller and pull a paint roller through to clean it out and he did and it worked great. Even if something happened and the paint roller got stuck it too was still hollow so it would not have completely blocked the pipe if something happened

Toothbrush on the grout = not at all
Rubber hose hinges = why not?
Drill hole in face of block to avoid breaking it = ? if you want a hole in the face of it? but that seems damaged as well.
Quick glue to hold block down while proper adhesive dries = Great. I do this, but I put both adhesives on the back away from each other. Quick holds while other dries.
Duct tape caulking tip = Quit cuttings your tips so deep in the first place.
Sawdust and glue = I don't know what the final floor is to be, but the gaps in between are for seasonal expansion. But he had obvious down this several times judging by his movement. I'm curious.
Vinyl base = no tip or trick, just the proper way to cut inside/outside corners
4 Strings to hold drywall patch = no good. piece is now being held by compound alone, and will crack over time. Install block or board into hole securing it with screws thru existing drywall leaving enough wood exposed to fasten patch with screws as well. The 2nd video showing this is correct. As well as the 3rd video on hole patches.
90deg. pencil = Lol. I love it. HE... He.. he.
Cutting a circle in sheetrock with your finger as the center compass point = you won't be able to do this without your 10k hrs.
Very few hangers even do it like that. I knew of only 2 myself.
Bringing 70 pound bundles of shingles up a 12 - 12 pitched roof (45% im guessing pitch) = Don't lip off to this guy at the bar
as he is not installing, but ONLY bucks weight. Same goes for those who deliver drywall for a living. 2 sheets at a time, whatever length and thickness, up and down stairs, around corners, through window openings. Don't Cross em. Lol.
Arched doorway installation = Yeah, ok. But if you have never pulled mud (finished sheetrock with compound) your probably not going to understand why you have so much sanding to do, to have it come out looking EHHH.
4in. PVC splice = Kinda cool to see if you don't have a matching I.D. splice to match.
3 sided drywall cut = pretty slick, and I had not seen that before.
Clipping credit card to tape because of a inside 90deg point = Bring tape closer to you and go beyond board with tape to get proper number. yes, yes i understand that it could be the only way. Still don't do that. The clip on your tape has a push/pull of 1/8th in. Figure out how to use it. Lol
The Pipe The Potato & The explosive = What did I miss?
GIANT WOODEN WRENCH = Lol, absolutely love it. People are great. It only needed the opening and a long handle, but he took the time to shape it cool like that.
Otherwise their were some ok to neat things, and a couple I had never even seen a version of that appeared to be fantastic ideas.
I seem a couple neat ones I have done a little better versions of, but the ones similar that were better versions sent my mind back in history thinking of what ifs. That's where the gold is.
Just some observations from a guy with 25 plus years in residential / commercial, and new / remodeled construction.
and The other 10 plus in aircraft fabrication and as a machinist. So I like seeing thing that have been done one way, actually improvised and improved, especially when it is so simple, that you can't believe everyone hasn't picked this up yet.
If you have a critique of my critique, please do share, as any better knowledge is only something to learn. Feelings are unnecessary to intake information.
    Cool video. Thanks.

I am going to be making a set of steps for my home. I am using a brick mold, concrete, terracotta concrete dye, and sand. Making the bricks two at a time. The process is going to take months but when finished the steps will last years. When finished I will be making a patio .. two bricks at a time. I also have a step stone mold to make my own custom made step stones with glow in the dark chunk glitter and epoxy resin. Next year at this time I might have my work complete.

I saw him use that credit card and paper clamp to get the measurement on his tape measure. An easy way to do it is just measure one side out 3 inches, or what ever number you like and make a mark. Then measure from the opposite corner to your mark and add 3 inches. No credit card or clamp needed and no bending your tape.

Buying a kitchen faucet on the cheap instead of buying the one with a tilting faucet head because you know a plastic bottle cap a balloon will complete the deal.
