Can I watch you set it up? Because when I try to set mine up, it seems like there’s no good way to do it without bending something. If you put the side bars up first, it will drop down and bend the frame. And if you try to set up the legs first, there’s nothing holding up the sides and it rips out the shitty little plastic plugs that are just pinched in the ends of the side bars. And having to fiddle around with those little nuts to attach the side bars while holding the whole thing off the ground so it doesn’t bend the frame. Is that why you didn’t show it being set up?

By the way, I have a bare roof (no factory roof rack) but added 4 Yakima Q towers and 2 round bars. On top, I now have a Yakima cargo box, 7 gallon Roadshower 4 and this awning.

So does it only work with a roof rack thing? Or can it attach somehow to a bare roof?
I'm pretty sure it needs to attach to side rails....
