Enduring chariots is a pretty standard tactic, as you cant roll or bloodhound step them, you always get hit.

endure seems like lowkey one of the strongest ashes, the animation is quick and really subtle for how much of an effect it has
I run it on everything, lol. If I could only keep one ash in the game it’d be that. It’s just quality of life in PvE being able to guarantee you won’t get knocked out of your next attack and it’s stupid useful in PvP.
Endure and AoW that hit all around you are literally life savers
Its not lowkey, it straight up just is. They buffed it in one of the earlier patches a little too much, so they had to scale it back a bit. Imo the bigger weapons should have had their duration kept. It used to be that all endure were 2 seconds or so but with bigger weapons the animation lasted for almost a whole second so it was terrible. It also didnt have immunity from the bleed/frost animation.
Endure is pretty predictable at this point. I always roll away from it, never get blendered (I do get blendered by double spears though)

The caestus is one of my favorite weapons because of its R2. Even in PVE, a lot of enemies, like Malenia, can be interrupted constantly by the R2 press.
Holding out hope for the Bone Fist moveset coming back in the DLC

I have found using Beast's Roar on fist weapons is very useful against light rollers, especially in tunnels and other smaller areas where spacing is limited. I also like using storm stomp in similar situations if they're being super agressive, not that I am of the skills to be giving you advice lol
For the Chariots, you might want to have a weapon that has Raven of the Mists on your sidebar - you can use it so you don't have to worry about dodging them and catch up to hosts quicker.

The spiked caestus & star fist are my favorite offhand for the gugs, especially for bleed. Barbaric roar & loux earthshaker are the only ashes ive found useful myself tho. Hope the dlc brings fist exclusive ashes, let alone a bone fist type weapon
Have you thought of trying a dex faith build? You get quick casts and a few good unique weapons like 2 holy scythes and even the blasphemous blade.

I really recommend an offhand whip for roll catch and punishing retreats! it would pair well with a faith greatsword, and the occasional stormhawk axe!

Fists are very good for pvp, actually, due to the low weights, requirement, and aggressive moveset. The poise damage is also ridiculously high for their weight.

Study a Bushy video. He uses starfist all the time.
My main character is Mr Fister, and of course he uses Spiked Caestus with Quality affinity and Endure. I buff with Flame Grant me Strength and Bloodflame Blade, use Millicent's Prosthesis and Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, and just one combo, using Endure in the middle of an attack since the enemy tries to trade, is enough to cause large amounts of damage. I also use Lord of Blood's Exultation since bleed tends to proc with one or two exchanges, but I also make use of Endure after luring enemies in since they like to swarm someone with a small range weapon, and that's when I bust out Moghwyn's Spear and use the AoW. Lots of damage, multiple procs of bleeding, and the protection from Endure at the start up until Hyper Armour kicks in and by then they're either scrambling to get away but can't due to their proximity and the range of the AoW, or they desperately try to knock me out of it or kill me first which doesn't work. To compensate for the potential damage I could receive not only do I use Endure but my fourth talisman is the Dragon Greatshield and I normally buff with a health recovery spell. In my left hand, other than a Seal for incantations, I have a shield that can use Sacred Ground, so I'm sometimes in the position to keep regenerating.
It definitely causes a lot of sweating 😅, but it's a build that doesn't require lots of prep and a shift in tactics is always possible without needing to stop and think

I see Chase has chosen to fist people today. Well, I say fist away, Chase! Fist every single last wizard, and then for good measure, fist them again! Although, I do wonder, what would it be like to fist with Bloodflame Blade on? Perhaps it could take your fisting to the next level with it's bleed procs, given how fist weapons tend to score lots of hits and two of the four have innate bleed?
