Wow! I am officially embarrased now. I have lived in my house 10 years and I had no idea my windows could do this! I didn't know what those little switches were for. :) This is especially useful if you have windows on an upper floor and can't easily reach them from the outside. Worked like a charm. Thanks.

Great info. I needed this as a refresher. I've done mine in the past but when I tried today the upper window was not coming down. Thought I did something wrong. I just needed to apply more pressure pushing downward. Thanks again
I knew they could be tilted but I was trying like crazy to do it but I couldn't. I was putting it down to the bottom and than trying to tilt for no avail. Thanks a lot, now I have to go clean all the windows after so long.

Thank you so much we went through a house fire a year-and-a-half and all new windows were put in and I don't know how to take out the screens which we have to do right now since our central air conditioner unit broke and we have to buy a couple window air conditioner so this is a lifesaver thank you!
How to clean the exterior of your window in Germany: Flip the handle vertically, pull it open like a door, wash it, close it, flip the handle down or up (if you want it to be in a tilted position). Done. :D
Thank you! I’ve only been cleaning the bottom pane because I figured you can only tilt the bottom one in and only clean the top pane from outside (which I can’t reach of course) 🤣

I have these windows and have been cleaning them for many years but today when I tilted the bottom window back after cleaning, it no longer closes all the way and won’t open. I removed the whole bottom window and tried to retrack it but it just keeps doing the same thing. Any ideas? Great little video. Thanks
I don't have tabs on bottom window like that. I have a thing you slide down flip the bottom in then raise the thing to the top and that is all I remember. I don't remember how to flip the top in, I know it has to slide down a little bit then flip in. But the top, I can't remember where that thing goes to do the top window
Wow these windows I have have no tabs. I just moved into an apartment and realize I probably can’t take these windows apart there’s not even a way to put on the top window which I’ll try though from the middle part. Too bad I’m on the second floor. But there are two clean windows on the outside so I’m hoping that it’s a possibility.
I have the same kind of windows but I don’t have those flaps that allow me to flip my widowed towards me so that I can clean them. My only option is to go outside the window and clean the outside of it which can be dangerous. Any suggestions. ?
My windows are just like the video with the tabs that move in, but the top windows don’t slide down more than an inch. They seem to hit something and stop. Any ideas?
if that happens again once I had tilted mine back up 75% of the way I had to make sure the bottom of the window wasn't all the way to the window still, but a few inches above it. Works every time. I LOVE my windows!! Only the foolish things are 46"X46" They are STILL HEAVY!! Still normally I LOVE them.
