    Love it coach. I am a forty year young lefty pitcher, still playing in a couple of leagues, and I do most of these. Definitely going to try out the wrap. Another "R", which kind of goes with rub, is Roll. Foam or stick rollers are great for the legs and arms to really work out the scar tissue.

    I personally fine banda as the most effective way to loosen up my arm, shoulders and traps. I do it before everytime i throw and everday if i am trying to recover quickly.

    I’ve been having elbow pains for 3 years. First the doctor said it was growth plates and I got that fixed but it still hurt. Then it was the tendons in my elbow and I sat out for 2 years and once again it still hurts as much as it did before. I went to the doctor after I sat out and he said go to rehab but he said it won’t do much. Do you have any exercises or anything like that to try to get back into pitching or position player.

    The key to being a big league pitcher is the 3 rs. Readiness, Recooperation, and Conditioning. Some guys like to ice up their arm, other fellas think heat is the way to go. But I have discovered the secret. HOT ICE. I I heat up the ice cubes, ITS THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!!!

    What it be a good idea to do a leg workout after throwing that way you’re able to still workout and give your upper body a rest?

    I was watching a video about a former pitcher helping to improve his pitching. One thing he told him is to land your lead foot at a 45 degree angle between home and 3rd because your cleat is I guess supposted to break the ground. Is this correct or not? If not where should your foot land?

    • @YouGoPro
      @YouGoPro  6 років тому

      It varies in MLB. Not every pitcher is the same. I teach alignment (straight on) but if a guy is off to the closed side a bit and it’s working, I don’t mess with him.

      YouGoPro Franklin D. Roosevelt. Part of the "New Deal" he proposed during the great depression was the 3 Rs. Relief recovery and reform. The "New Deal" was terrible though and prolonged the depression along with giving the government too much control. That's why I was saying you aren't going all FDR on me. It was a joke
