Debbie is the best!! It's an incredible machine. I love the ergonomics, the cuff, the coil easy to slip on, the tone hits hard on a solid target, the maneuverability on the control pod is simple not to mention the information provided. I still have to read the manual but I've had too short outings here in Ontario, Canada and so very impressed. Winter and snow is moving in ... uggg Cheers and best of luck. The 2D screen reminds me of my 2nd Minelab the Etrac!!
I was following along pretty good, right up until you said, "Let's get into it and let Debby take it from here." After that, I was lost. By my calculations, if I bought the 'Cadillac of Metal Detectors' for $1600, I would have to dig up 6,400 lost quarters to break even. I think I'll stick to my hobby of photographing a resin bobblehead all around the country. Pablo, it's always good to see what you're up to on the Arizona desert. Thank you again for sharing your adventure.
Hey Tom, luv the comment. You could spend $1600 on touring the country doing what you luv to do, and watch someone else dig up the 6,400 quarters 😅Win win if you ask me. Had to get this video out, it was a once in a lifetime thing for me to premier an unreleased product. The video is getting a lot of attention, wish we didn't loose 2 days of filming, we could have done a lot more in the field test portion. Debby was not feeling well, what a trooper, poor gal was down 2 days but she pulled it together the day before she had to leave. Thanks for watching as always, might be a metal detector hunt video coming out soon 😉
@@prospectorpaul1 I think you're right on the "win win" situation. I'm looking forward to the future metal detector hunt episode. Oh, and congrats on being the one to premier an unreleased product...that's really cool. Stay safe my friend!
Howdy Largent! Very fun machine, lot's of info for the user. Wish Debby and I had more time to do better field testing, but she had to go. Thanks as always for watching
I have the Nox 800 and the CTX. I am used to the 2D screen, it is very handy to tell what the target is, through bleed, size, and color (with the CTX). I like that the CTX has GPS for tracking your finds etc. Thanks for the 'first' look mate, looks interesting.
Does it indicate 'simultaneous' scan? Does it show the freq./kHz scanning simultaneously? The V3i had 'simultaneous' scan and reflected all the freq./kHz scanning at the same time; likewise, the simultaneous freq./kHz in pinpointing? Although, it shows the different icons for the different targets does it show the different freq./kHz for 'simultaneous'? The feature on the coil reducing the probability of the coil ears breaking and the ability to change only the part that is broke; thus, reducing the expense is a feature that should be easily modified to be incorporated in the Equinox? I subscribed! Thanks for the video! Addendum: c/p from V3i Advanced Manual: By checking Normalized, all VDI’s will be normalized (shifted) to a common frequency. That common frequency is, for historical reasons, 6.592kHz, meaning the US silver quarter will have a normalized VDI response of 83. With Normalized unchecked, V3i will report the raw VDI numbers for the frequency mode selected. There is at least one situation where this is an advantage. At 22.5kHz the lower part of the non-ferrous VDI range is expanded, resulting in more numerical separattion of low-conductive targets. This can help in separating nickels and jewelry from pull tabs.
Donald, I wish I had the answers for you, I was filming Debby being Debby, I am still learning every time I watch the video. UA-cam will be flooded with videos as soon as this machine is released, I know your answers will come out then. Thank you for watching, really appreciated!

@@prospectorpaul1 How many excuses are you going to make for gods sake, are we going to see any tests that actually shows what this is about before its on the shelves or not...
Hope to see something in the future with a real demonstration comparing it to some other known, familiar machines. Like the Manticore vs the 800 nox and the new 900. Side by side will be necessary to decide if it's worth the hype and extra expense. This felt too much like an informercial. I will keep an eye out for something down the road showing the difference against known machines performance. Thanks.

Not being critical, but today investing in a newer expensive machine, it needs to find good stuff others missed. Maybe all the missed was boot nails and 22 bullet shells
I’m hopeful. I loved and supported Minelab from the time and all the way through the sovereign, Excalibur, all explorers, CTX 3030. Loved their technology, hated most ergonomics, never line the Nox. Leaks galore, ears breaking. Come on Minelab!. Now, if the Nox is as good as the 3030, better in some ways, lighter, updated technology for speed, etc. I may bite but not at first, lol. Thanks
Paul, the explanation of it's features and capabilities were well done...The field demonstration probably should have been conducted elsewhere with targets at depth ( and the last person didn't know how to swing a detector)...Just saying.
I know for a fact that this isn’t the only Manticore in the U.S. The rep also didn’t show how you can go into the iron settings, and open up different areas to give a diggable tone. For instance, in Europe you can set it up to “see” iron coins. In North America, you could open the iron areas where steel pennies and some Canadian coins come in, etc. I’ve seen the European reps go into detail about this ability. She was right that no negative numbers show up on the screen, but they are represented by the red. When you open the iron range, it seems to be divided into sections of 10, which represent negative 99-0 VDIs.
I think i'll stick with my Deus 2, even if it performs a little bit better then the Deus 2 (still be proven). I can't swing that type of detector for a full day without schoulder and arm problems. The Deus 2 i can swing a whole day without health problems, that's also important.
Good video, I’m really interested in seeing what this machine will really do. I have the Nox 800 and deus 2. The nox is an amazing machine I loved it from day 1, deus 2 also amazing machine. I find stuff I missed with nox when using deus and with the nox I missed with deus. What I like about the nox over deus most is aluminum is in the lower pull tab or nickel range. If I’m coin hunting and want silver I’ll use the nox., but In iron deus wins out with separation barely. Nox loses in the water it leaks, deus loses in runtime battery life is short. I will buy the manticore for 2 reasons I believe it will be equal or slightly better in every aspect except weight to the deus and secondly I will always support companies that support veterans. Minelab gives veterans discount and as a veteran i appreciate the thought and it’s a big deal if all other things are close to equal. Looking forward to release.
Luved this comment, well put Tony. Great insight from an owner of both machines and yet forward looking to new technology. Wish we had more time to field test, would have made a better video. We need to do more to honor vets!

@925inder with the Nox 800 I've been able to get a sharper signal at times on deep targets that I would might skip otherwise.

I think it would be great on bedrock, not sure how well it does on gold in general as we didn't have time to test it.
