C17 971 - Climbing the Silverwood Range - Drone - Saturday 12th August 2017

On a slightly cloudy, cold Saturday morning on 12th August 2017, Southern Downs Steam Railway ran one of their very popular steam trips to the border town of Wallangarra. This gave myself the chance to capture some footage I have been trying to get for a while. This video showcases the train, hauled by C17 971, beginning the climb up the Silverwood Range as it heads towards Wallangarra. Footage captured with a DJI Phantom 4.
