Hi Mr. Silverman , this was indeed an informational content. Obviously it is gonna help me analyze the case in detail. I would like offer my sincere gratitude for this content.
Dear Steven, this was a great video. Thank you so much for creating it. The detailed approach to analyze a Decision-driven case was just fantastic. Could also share slides to do a detailed analysis of Evaluation and Problem type cases?
Undoubtedly, this is one of the best discussions on Case Study. Thank you so much for uploading. Do you have any such slides for Problem and Evaluation part as well? It would be great if you share. Thanks again.
Dear Steven- would it be possible to get your notes also on the problem case and the evaluation case? I really like the simplicity in the approach you teach. It makes it universally applicable. Thank you in advance!
Thanks a lot, Mr. Steven. This is indeed helpful to me. I would like you to use a very good example of a case study to drive home your points. Thank you.
Thank you Steven for the guideline. It's really helpful for entry level like me to not get lost while facing a case. Is it possible to know where to find about how to present problem and evaluation cases ? Thank you.
Thank you for this wonderful video. I find it very useful specially for my class. For academic purposes, I am requesting permission to use your video. Thanks again.
Hey Steven, I love the content of this video, so thank you for posting. One question I have is this: Is it appropriate to consider individual risks that are identified & listed in a project's risk register to be a case? Meaning, is it reasonable to consider a risk response plan for one identified risk to be a mini case study, focusing on that individual risk, for the project? Or are business case studies meant to be much broader in scope? It seems to me that Case Study Action Plans & Risk Response Plans have substantial overlap.
I am sorry I do not. You can apply this approach to any case study as a framework to guide you. You should adjust it to meet your needs based on the case. I encourage you to try it and see how it works for you. All the best.
I use case studies from numerous sources. In my classes I used them primarily from Harvard at www.hbsp.harvard.edu. But a search with most search engines will turn up lots of sources.
Thanks; I've to take a decision to upgrade the application to new release and it will take around 3 months.. could you please help me to make a professional case study.
I was given a case with the goal "position our firm to maximize the chances of securing this order" Would that be a problem, decision, or evaluation case?
Just another video where its all theoratical, no application or example. Pointless. Instead of such a detailed framework, you could have solved a few sample cases and people would have learnt a lot more. Just my 2 cents
IH21 Just another destructive comment where the writer states his/her opinion judgementally, using words like “pointless” - which speaks volumes about his/her emotional intelligence. Instead of stating your personal opinion as if it were the only truth and without contributing any data to support it you could have watched the video to learn a bit about how to make a case. Please do not assume that you know what’s best for me. I think this video is one of the best ones I have seen about this matter. BTW, the author’s answer speaks volumes about his great maturity, humbleness, and emotional ability to listen to others, and try to understand them, even when they are being plainly and unnecessarily displeasing.

Hi Mary Grace - I answered this question for Guy below. I hope that comment helps you, too.
Thank you for this awesome video! Now, I would love to know where to find a database of case studies.
I use case studies from numerous sources. In my classes I used them primarily from Harvard at www.hbsp.harvard.edu. But a search with most search engines will turn up lots of sources.
is this powerpoint downloadable somewhere?
Yes. You can get it here: drive.google.com/file/d/1QygSP7QptupazcRYxqR1W03LLrQ181av/view?usp=sharing
My course is Entrepreneurship I want to learn more about business ❤️🙏🙏
Thanks; I've to take a decision to upgrade the application to new release and it will take around 3 months.. could you please help me to make a professional case study.
I was given a case with the goal "position our firm to maximize the chances of securing this order"
Would that be a problem, decision, or evaluation case?
I would approach positioning as a problem - you do not know which segment to focus on. Then work on solving that problem. Hope that helps.
