I start to realize that the phrase "all included" makes some people think that this tablet is a standalone product that works as a computer too. That is NOT the case. You NEED a computer with this tablet or it won't work.
How does it work so long after? No issues?
Nadiaxel thank you for clarifying. I’m trying to find a tablet that works without a computer for a gift for someone so talented and needing the support. But I’m not too clued in on tablets. May I ask if the Cintiq Pro 13 would work on the go?
@@MothproofKT the thing is. Drawing tablets are not stand alone. You connect them to a computer so you can work with photo shop, krita and other drawing tools on the computer. if you want a standalone just buy a tablet like Samsung or apple
@@MothproofKT I also heard that there are computer tablets but
@@MothproofKT you're looking in the wrong places lol. display tablets don't work without a computer. instead, get an iPad, Android tablet, or computer-tablet hybrid like the Surface Pro. however, Wacom also has a stand-alone display tablet called the MobileStudio Pro, but it's at least $3,000, so I wouldn't buy that.
Dude you just saved me from spending an extra $600 on a cintiq or ipad

Transgender: i don’t identify as a dude.
@Gurnski Deti Display tablets ARE monitors. You'd connect it to a computer or laptop to use.
This is the goal tablet for me! I've been doing traditional for years and want to take the leap into digital!
I know this could be late, but if you haven't bought a tablet yet---Maybe try out a screenless one first? It's where I landed when trying to make this leap. Yes, a screen makes things "easier"; but after watching pros talk about how they don't always use screens I decided to "dip my toes" into the pool with Huion tablet without the screen. It worked really, really well and introduced me to a lot of the mechanics you'll need to transition your art. ( It's also cheaper ). Sometimes people find digital art isn't "for them", so it'd be a shame if you wasted hundreds to discover that---So Instead I spent like $70.
@@pailofawesome this screen has an advantage of wide color range... That's one of the reasons I've chosen XP-Pen. This color range is just a very different experience, if someone doesn't have already a display with wide color gamut
Marissa this whole comment is me
@@pailofawesome you have a point..i guess i'll follow your opinion..but what screenless tablet can you recommend? Is there a 8192 pen pressure on them?or only 2048?
@@justarandomstranger279 This is the one I purchased a bit before writing that comment. I recommend it as a starter if you think you can overcome looking at a monitor while drawing. It took me a few days to get used to it; but it's cheaper than any of the "viable" screen ones if you wanted something of quality. You have to pay double the price for one with a screen that's on the lower end.
smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NZ4181M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I overcame looking at a monitor while drawing and it doesn't bother me now. It's pretty easy to learn after you get used to it; just like using a mouse.
it's really nice you took a good time to test out the tablet before you reviewed it. it always feels weird when people are recommending a tablet on just a first use. This was very insightful, thank you!
Thank you so much 💓 and for watching as well ^^
when she showed the stand i was like “wait... 2 tablets??”

BEST COMMENT IN HISTORY
92% Adobe RGB and 120% sRGB is probably why the image is as good as it is. These two numbers show how much color the display is capable of displaying. To me, this is extremely surprising because, for a price of just $350, I don't think there is a better deal out there.
Thank you for clarifying ^^ I started reading up on this and I find it a little hard to understand at first but I'll get there xD so Thank you!
@@Nadiaxel Np, keep up the good work!
这款是92%adobe rgb???卧槽。国内版本阉割了?
Yep, time to start rounding up money then. You sold it to me, can't wait to have something like this.
You reviews always covers everything, unpacking, first thoughts, setting it up, pros and cons, personal opinion and your adorableness.
I am very satisfied with these reviews.
I really really appreciate that you switch between screen rec and camera rec! It really helps understanding how the tablet works :)
I think you did an excellent review :D
OooOOooOOOOo thank you, sweety ♥️ I'm happy you like that aspect of it ;W;
the manufacturer wouldn't show it better than you and you're an awesome artist
Thank you for including information about all of the buttons, ports, and plugs. I've watched a few other reviews, and most of them only focus on the drawing. It is so important to under how this tablet will actually fit in with all of the other stuff on my desk. I know it's difficult to cover the tech specs, so I definitely appreciate when it's included in a review.
Thank you for waiting three months to make this video. Super helpful 😁 new sub!
I really liked the smoothing test, I've seen a lot of tablet tests but most people don't lay it out like that. Good work!
So, just throwing it out there, it's not because it takes processing power to interpret the strokes in a smoother manner, it's that it needs more samples from the pen. Smoothing takes the last X samples(usually over 100/s are reported, iirc wacom is 250rps) and averages them, which eliminates sudden jumps in one direction and then another, since the average will still remain, well... average.
This introduces delay because it's waiting for more samples to be sent, and it can't sample something you haven't done yet. I see things like this really often when people talk about art tablets(even some absolutely hilarious misinterpretations of the parallax effect as some kind of software problem???) but it's always good to understand precisely why a thing is the way it is, because understanding your tools can help you better to use them.
This is amazing!! Thank you for clarifying! I never completely understood because I have such a powerful computer and it didn't make sense that it couldn't pull some smoothing. This makes so much sense! The parallaxing being a software issue sounds like a really bad misunderstanding/misinterpretaion of software lag C:
If this is true I wish I had known sooner, I've given away multiple tablets due to this and decided to stick to traditional.
@@IM_GOING_TOO_HAM If you want a really responsive digital tablet experience, I'd recommend using Win7 or older using Basic or Classic themes to remove vsync. If you can stand to draw offscreen with something like an intuos, getting a high refreshrate "gaming" monitor makes a huge difference as well, due to being made for fast response and short frame persistence.
Sadly, not enough people know about this and chalk it all up to just being 'oh digital art tablets are slow because computers are slow' or things like that. not enough technology enthusiasts in the art communities, unfortunately.
You totally sold this tablet to me straight away with your enthusiasm alone! A fantastic review Thank you so much x Every question I had to ask answered.
I’ve never seen you before, I found you by association and I just clicked on your video, your wit to review is overwhelmingly charming, the manufacturers of this tablet got the best possible review ever, you are adorable and I just fell in love with you, your style, your work and everything else, you are a gem!!!! - I subscribed - Muah!!!
Aaaaaaaa I can't handle so much praise 😭*spins*
After good consideration of options I've put this on my amazon list to watch out for a sale. This further solidifies my choice, very good review! ♥
My husband just told me hes getting me this tablet for my birthday in feburary so I'm very excited, also I love your art and I really liked your review it was very helpful
@@mediccatz I just saw this yes I ended up only getting a 12 inch but still a great product I use it daily
just got this for my birthday!! im so excited to use it now ❤️
i just got a job recently and thanks to you i know EXACTLY what im gonna buy first
I Love XP-Pen! As someone who never had a screen graphic tablet when I was younger because of the high prices, being able to buy the 200$ XP-pen Artist 12 a few months ago blew my mind.
Like seeing that younger artist will now be able to get this kind of quality tablets in this price range is just amazing ❤
Look at me waking up a little to early. Goes I’ll watch this before nodding off again!
I just bought one thanks to your glowing review. Thank you!
Thanks for this. I was eyeing this particular tablet and I needed some good unbiased reviews.
I loved your review. It was very informative. Being new at digital art and looking into drawing tablets, I’m weighing all options. I heard about smoothing and your demonstration on it was great. I have a Surface Pro but am looking for a good drawing only pad. Your art style is very great! I love art because everyone has their own style. It’s like music.
Great to hear such an enthusiastic review from an actual artist after months of use, rather than the too frequent "unboxing" from a tech reviewer who can't say much about the feeling. Your last Cintiq is the one I own now. And for that price, even if it's still a lot for me, I definitely much more than think now about investing in that. Cheers.
great i just ordered one thanks for your review Love your art work by the way
Thank you 4 this. Waiting for mine
I know this video is almost two years old but I've been on the fence about finally getting this tablet and your review has certainly helped me come to the decision to take advantage of their current sale to get one. Thank you!
Its been 2 years, how did you like it? Im thinking about getting one now after discovering animation!
@@trumpsextratesticle8590 I actually love mine. It works fantastic and I use it almost every day. Set up was easy and is a great quality for the price
2 more years and this video helped me to decide for the pro 15.6 - nice price at amazon black week now.

I've been wanting to get this tablet, seems so good for the price!
I love this review so much! I need to save this video for when I get my XP PEN tablet, your tips are really helpful
I just loved the review in general and know which tablet I'm GOING to be buying from your great experience! Thanks Nad!! 😍❤️
What a Great Review. It's from a person who really knows what she is talking about. And Wow what an artist as well. I so subscribed. Looking for more. Thanks.
Great review, I purchased this for my son in March as a birthday present and this is an excellent device and works excellent with Clip Studio and a lot of his drawing softwares, no problems were seen with this device at all.
We can use this tablet with clip paint?
@@manon.pmanon5463 you can use this tablet with everything.
I envy ur son. My mom and dad doesnt buy me this xD i only buy it for myself using my savings cuz they dont know digital art or doesn’t care much about it. And im glad there are moms like you who supports ur son’s talent.
Thanks for the review. I just want to let you know that i LOVE how you draw. Your oc looks so interesting!
Just got it for Christmas! Cant wait to use it ❤
So twot things first and formost you got a sub!!!! And two I bought this tablet on monday for my first ever digital jump into art and watching many reviews and man I cant wait to get this
Really helpful cause I’m getting the same thing Tuesday of next week ( like this so I don’t forget about it and share my unasked for opinions on it )
You sold me on this, great video and my youngest is using this exact tablet as of today. She is totally wild over this new way to draw...thanks for the review.
I'm finally getting one of these for Christmas. Came for the review, stayed for the art, and the humor. XD
Working up to getting an xp pen Artist, using one of their lower end tablets has also replaced my old wacom tablet. For the price and quality it is hella worth it.
That jojo referance to the stand xD

Exactly what I was thinking
I was pretty confident about getting this tablet seeing its' size and features in the website, but after seeing your review? I'm sold. I currently have an XP-PEN 10s which is very small, but being my very first display tablet, I was and am sooo happy with it.
I am ready to jump to a bigger screen and staying with XP-Pen. Thank you for the nice video! ♥
Dine reviews er bare super. Meget informative og underholdende. Virker som en super tablet til prisen.
Been saving up for this tablet for a year and a half and I almost have all the money for it. I will hopefully get by the end of January. Glad I'm hearing so much good stuff about it.
On the XPPen website, all the models are on sale until December 5thish. And I thought I saw they allow you to make payments but I'm not sure.
Also maybe check XP Pen store on eBay. I got it there even cheaper! Plus there was a discount on eBay itself.
Check out eBay, many people selling as new from unwanted presents. I just picked this up as new for £145!!
If anyone is here now, the price has dropped to 300$ and you can buy the holiday pack that comes with some extra stuff for the same price!
For that price and quality, it really is better than even Wacom One 13, has 2 buttons on its pen and has programmable hardware express keys! Only having other pen options, thinner pens, would be an improvement...
This has helped alot thank you & great review !
Awesome review!
Just ordered one this week and I'm waiting for it to arrive. I managed to order it on a sale and it costs only $299.99!
Super excited to use it!
Thank you for the review, I'll consider it a gift from myself to me for christmas. ;)
Those are the best presents xD
Thank you so much for this Review. I've been torn between 2 or 3 Tablets for myself recently. I started drawing 1 year ago with Pencil and Paper, then went for Copics and other Equipment. Now I want to switch to Digital Art.
You helped me to finally decide which Display Tablet i should get :) and now I can finally save up Money for Clip Studio Paint and the Tablet.
Hope you are having a great Day!
Glad to have been able to help 💕 I still use it a lot and I love it 🤩 I hope you'll get it soon! And Clip Studio is awesome! Good luck 🤗
@@Nadiaxel Thanks :) Will probably get it in August/September, need to buy a new Washing Machine and Dryer first.... Adult Problems... ;[
Clip studio paint very often goes on sale so visit their website often and you will find 50% discounts.
this is a great review especially the summary!
Thanks for the review! I love your videos
I've been looking for a new drawing tablet, and i think i might start investing in this one!!! Thanks Nadiaxel ^^
I'll never have anything like that.

Such awesomeness to your personality !! Loved the review!! You really helped me make up my mind !! 💜
I LOVE your enthusiasm for this tablet. I’ve ordered one already and am waiting for it to arrive. I’be been watching video reviews because I’ve been having second thought and have been worried that maybe I made a mistake. You managed to erase any fears that I have. Thanks for a great and entertains review!
Hi! I'm trying to decide if I wanna get this tablet, how is it working for you if you don't mind my asking? I've heard it's got an over saturated red tint to the screen but i wanna hear first hand how it works for someone
How is it?
so, I've been getting adverts for this from amazon like crazy this holiday season. is there a like-tech, recently-made competitor that I should be comparing this to?
I heard that electro swing megalovania in the background. Fantastic choice you Goddess of artwork.
getting this tablet for Christmas and wanted to make sure I wasn't gonna be using a crappy tablet for a long time before I can afford another one. Pleasantly surprised with your review, considering you're an artist I look up to. Thank you!
Just subscribed! loved the review
This video appeared as "recommended for you" and I was EXCITED to see there was a new XP-Pen (I never bought one before but had it in mind). I really like the looks of it and your review. Just too bad they never go above 1920x1080 resolution! :( When you sit this close to the screen, I'd expect at least 2560x1440 to get rid of the pixelated/grainy feel.
Yea that was my thoughts on the resolution as well - on my computer it looks great even tho. My main screen is 4K with 150% zoom and I think the tablet lools nearly as clear as my monitor ^^ I think it also depends on the screen setting and the zoom etc.
I have a Cintiq 22HD which is also 1920x1080 ,so that res on a 15.6 screen would be pretty good, also higher res screens in Art programs will need a more powerful PC.So a 4K screen really isn't a great idea.
scpart higher resolution isn’t that demanding. If we’re talking games or otherwise very demanding GPU heavy stuff, then yes. 2D or even Zbrush (which is heavily depending on CPU), or any 3D modeling app which is usually single threaded anyway should run quite good even on an integrated GPU.
Regardlesss, even if you had a tablet that had a higher resolution you could always have it run at a lower resolution if you were worried about performance..
It's 15,6", this tablet doesn't need better resolution ;-;
OMG I’m getting one
Been waiting for 2 years to get this tablet and finally my mom is ordering me one around this week or two :') Can't wait for it to arrive!
Omg I just bought this! I'm super super excited now!
Good review. I also have the 13HD and I'm looking to upgrade. My main issues with the 13HD has been a grainy screen, poor color accuracy, and the screen seems dim. The pen and actual drawing has been very good though. It's good to see a larger option that is more affordable than Wacom. I'm not sure on that bouncy pen tip though.
I've got a 13HD too but I found myself going back to a non display tablet. The 13HD was just a bit meh for me and I kept having my hand in the way of what I was drawing because the screen is so small.
Can I have dat tablet?
"Buy it yourself" said myself
Hheehehe that's how it feels :p
I love this review, Thank you so much!
What a lovely picture!
Thanks for the video.
wait, just a question, do you already need a drawing program or does it come with one? because if we have to download one idk a program that i can use.
You need a drawing program on the computer you connect the tablet with :) Medibang and Krita are both great and they're free!
You should add screen burn tests into your review processes. I bought a tablet recently that most reviewers recommended only to discover that the screen develops image screen burn over time, this is a deal breaker that I haven’t heard anyone address.
I actually never realized this was a thing!! Thank you for suggesting this - its very helpful ♥️
Turn it off for a day or so and it should go back to normal newer screens aren't like old crt displays where the image would actually burn in they instead have "stuck pixels" which should relax if you turn it off for an extended period of time. Also keep the cords away from anything that would cause electrical interference i.e. other cords or a power strip with every slot filled.
jaxxice Ive had it unplugged and stored in its original box for about a month. Upon reconnecting it I hate to report that it still has my desktop background burned in. For anyone wondering, it’s the Artisul D13. I wonder how common this is for budget screen tablets.
Thanks for the tip
@@swashbuckler316 Weird only time I've seen burn in that bad has been displays at electronic stores that are on 24/7 max brightness. Sorry to hear about that though really stinks.
Great review, thanks a lot,and your artwork 😍👌 mwah
Thanks for the review, very useful. My xp-pen is on order 😁👍. Great artwork by the way.
Those spring pens are really hard to get used to. Also they really need to add VESA mount areas for these 16 inch tablets, as they can still excel being used on an arm mount.
I just got the 12 pro yesterday and it's going to be my first dive into digital coming from acrylics painting....I'm scared :P
Thank you for this video! I really want to ask for this display tablet for my birthday in a little over a week and its helped me decide
Thanks for the awesome review. You're my hero
Small bit of information - you don't need to plug red USB into your PC if you have a sufficient PSU. It will draw enough power from data usb just fine. Power USB is more for people who'd like to use tablet with their laptops, which is why design wise this tablet (and some other models in series) looks like made to use on go, without any mounting options and less bulk.
Thank you for clarifying this ♥️✨
So how would you power it on the go?
@@EthanfromEngland- By using laptop power.
is it just me or is this anyones dream tablet that they know theyll never get
I would get it when it's on salleee nothing else lol
Crazy helpful, thanks!
Thankyou, getting a great deal on this during prime day sale 😁
what program are you using on your iPad to do the lineart? :)
Procreate ^^
I have it set up except I don’t know how to draw with it??? Do I need another app???
Connect it to your computer and download a drawing program. I suggest Medibang (FREE) or Photoshop (costs moneu to subscribe) 😚
Hello tae taes tea. You can also try Sketchbook Pro by Autodesk. It is free now and I find it relatively easier to use than other softwares. :)

Flashy Nightmare yes you can when you are setting the tablet up for the first time.
when you get a sponsored tablet sent from the company do you have to send it back after reviewing or can you keep it? im also looking at getting this tablet for Christmas so yay!

@@Nadiaxel how do you get sponsored to do that? Also BTW this vid was very helpful, THX, because I have to look into all this kinda stuff by my self.
@@thesproutdoodles I'm not entirely sure what your question is xD Like in how do I get a sponsorship? Mostly, the sponsors are the ones reaching out to me asking if I'm interested. The bigger an audience I have, the more interested potential sponsors get. I'm turning down soooo many irrelevant sponsors because they only see the 100.000k+ people following me and don't care much if their product correlates with my target group. So I've become quite picky xD haha. I hope that was an answer to your question 🤗

Really glad you gave the XP-pen a good tryout, it’s a big help when an artist tests it out for their everyday work over a few months.
