Best Backside Rock and Roll i've seen. the bail setup is a great idea! i find myself board on the deck and running out on 5ft trans. The left shoulder of great pointer. Time to get these down!
Trog, your style and technique are so clean, I love it. This trick has been super hard for me. When I try to bring it around, all goes to crap. I’m keeping at it!
Trog this was amazing. Love how u dropped some old school pointers about the steezy foot rolls ill never make that mistake again, plz do more old school style pointers like that in the future! My biggest question is tho how can Do do fs rock n rolls and not look like an absolute poser? Do I do a foot roll also ? What is the key to a sweaty fs rock and roll ??
Hi. Your videos are very good. I like your way to break tricks in sequence. Just one thing though, at the end you get back on the front arm having to be limp. But you pointing the back arm got me confused. Until I realized the logo on your helmet is reversed, image is reversed, so in reality you're pointing the front arm. But anyway thanks for the tutorial. Greatly helps !
my problem is that my front foot always slides way to the side when doing the re-entry, making it difficult to have a good stance rolling down the transition...
Yes sir. Try turning the board frontside 15-25 degrees before you turn backside out. So your doing a 200 degree turn instead of 180. Roll up to rock with heel pressure on the back foot. Then turn in backside on toes. If that doesn't work. Lean back into ramp more and lift front leg more on re entry. That will get it done for you. Great question
@@trogarmy I always see tutorials for these (both BS and FS) say to start with a little extra windup in the opposite direction. I never knew why. NOW it makes sense. Thanks dude.
I love your tutorials, man. They are super helpful for a 35 years old beginner skater like me.
Cheers.
Love the videos man, keep them coming! The "on the exhale" tip is great, feels like it slows things down

They not to over think it. Crank the upper body while keeping low and then backside kick turn out. Ram it down! Thanks for the kind words
Really appreciate your tutorials ... how to use your shoulders, foot work, bail out pattern, common mistakes and how to prevent
Yeah nice video man never thought about it but yeah gonna try the foot roll next skate for sure
Tag me in the photo or clip on insta!! It makes the trick easier, for real!

They are coming!! again like the BS you have to let the front arm "die" but frontside into the ramp. Then lean way back on to your back toes.
Trog Army sir yes sir I’ll try 2 instigate a BS and FS rock and roll clinic next time I’m at the local.

try to counter the foot position by setting up with your toe on the edge of the rail. send me a video if you need more help.
I always bonk my front toeside wheel on the coping when coming back around, any pointers on how to avoid this?
Thanks!!

why are these more difficult on small quarters?
For new riders they aren't but for myself they are
@@trogarmy Does it have to do with how you deck it and you getting more leverage or?
Why would you show it on such a deep bowl?
I feel it's easier on a ramp that is as tall as you
@@trogarmy 100% or taller..i find it easier to do on vert. sounds crazy but its the truth
