    JB thanks for this, I had a rock-n-roll a few years ago but lost it, and now I have totally psyched myself out of it after too many fails. This tutorial has cleared up some of my issues, so when the weather breaks I am *committing* myself to working on this. I will definitely wear my Skate Park Lessons t-shirt and when I get it I’ll update you here. ❤

    A good rock n roll is one of my favourite looking tricks. I was just getting them on my mini back in the spring, then I stepped off and wrecked my ankle. The turning your shoulders parallel looks like a great tip. Also from watching this i notice that you are almost starting to roll backwards as you turn. The other thing I've noticed is the shirt... I NEED A SHIRT!

      Same here.

    • @SkateparkLessons
      @SkateparkLessons  Рік тому

      You really need to push hard on your tail as you’re going in off the rock stall so that your board will stay pressed against your front foot…Think of it like doing a kick turning some heavy weight on the board. Your front foot will slide off if you don’t apply enough force to the tail, but you also have to commit and be honest with yourself if you are really committed to landing it. You can do it, keep trying 💙🛹💙

    Kung Fu them legs! Kick out that front leg, then pull it back to your chest!
    It's weird, I find that Back Rocks are all about the shoulders, and Front Rocks are all about the hips. Anyone else? If my hips aren't parallel with the coping, they don't come around. God, I love them!!!
