I was just checking a new game in kickstarter that looks really cool, and your video gave me the right push to buy. Because I don’t want to miss good chances of buying good games like Bloodstained. So thanks! Btw, the game is “Turbo Kid”, a video game sequel to the movie.
I’ll check it out! Yeah, despite its flaws, Kickstarter can be a great tool for up and coming game devs, and some of the smaller projects turned into real gems. And you can buy all 3 Bloodstained games now with all the content if you want, and I would strongly recommend you do if you’re interested! And as always thanks for watching! 🙏
@@ChipDamageMike for download… 😭 I’m a physical buyer😂 But the resells are so pricey in my country that I’ll habe no other choice than downloading. Thanks.
I'm a bit late to this video, but I enjoyed it! I also backed Shantae. It was my first Kickstarter! I haven't backed a ton of other games. The only one I have backed currently that I'm waiting on is Eiyuden Chronicles. I love the Suikoden series so this game was a must for me!
@@ChipDamageMike of course! Just stumbled across your channel in the last few months looking for PSP collection videos, but I've watched most of your videos now. I appreciate your passion!
Im kicking myself for not grabbing the physical releases of the earlier shantae games from limited run. They were at Best Buy only a few months ago and I was unsure if I wanted them. Great games though!
They are great! I’ve been lucky enough to get a physical release of all but the original one, but Limited Run has been doing re-releases of some of the Shantae games, so there’s still hope for us!
This was freaking awesome. Yet to back a kickstarter but recently it has been tempting especially with the rise of chinese portable consoles. I'm going to buy that SeGa book lol great recommendation. Thanks for the vid! Also that Bloodstained holo cover is outta this world
Thank you! Yeah, and that Bloodstained case always stays on display in the collection. And both books are well worth the asking price. I hope whatever you back lives up to expectations! Thanks you for watching ! Thanks 🙏
Kind of a coincidence that you made this interesting video. I heard about those games, and it was disappointing to see what happened to Mighty No. 9. Then we see Capcom release Megaman 11 and that game was better than Mighty No. 9. Only kick starter stuff I would be interested in are indie games, but haven't donated to anything yet, other than stuff like Limited Run, PlayAsia, 1stPrintGames, etc. I'm also looking into acquiring funding for my game, but that is still a year off before I set up everything. I've worked on my game for about a year, but had to stop and take a regular job for the time being. It's going to be an HD 2D side scrolling action game heavily inspired by Sega's Shinobi arcade game, Revenge of Shinobi and Shadow Dancer (Sega Genesis), and the Ninja Gaiden games on the NES. Story and concept art designs are mostly done (by myself), just working on animations and level design. I don't have music, so might need to get that funded and composed by someone else, lol. If anyone is interested in seeing the concept, I can try to get a video put up on my channel.
My friend that sounds amazing. I’ve been into games my entire life, but lack the skills and drive it takes to make one, so I have the upmost respect for anyone who does. That type of game is right up my alley and I wish all the luck in the world in making it! Don’t give up on it! And as always thanks for watching! 🙏

Mighty No. 9 is the only game that I wanted a refund and a letter of apology for.
Lol! I believe everyone who has payed for or played that game deserves those.
