- In Beyblade Metal Fusion there is a battle between two polar opposite characters. Hyoma and Reiji. This battle would lead to someone's torture of a bey battle and that would scar him forever.

Honestly, the reason I think Reiji is worse than Damian, is that Damian believed that his training style was superior to everyone else and wanted to prove that by beating everyone else. But Reiji just wants to break his opponents, he wants to see his opponents fall to their knees in pain, Damian wants to humiliate his opponents but Reiji just wants to break and torture his opponent
Damian still got what he deserved by Kyoya
Also Damian put people in hospital so he hurt people mentally and physically

I think you're right, Damian was just a child who was given extraodinary powers extremely quickly without having to train or caring for beyblade. He also was given a narrative for that power: he thought he was the chosen one and every other blader were inferior people he could toy with. If you look at the Japanese dub version fo ep 90, he almost sounds apathetic rather than mocking. Damian doesn't have a bey spirit, or rather he isn't part of the beyblade world: his beybeast mostly appear in the realm of Hades and he is the only blader with a bey whose constellation doesn't exist anymore (Cerberus is nowaday part of the Hercules constellation). Reiji on the other doesn't talk much aside from exposing his pleasure when he break someone's bey. He is almost anamalistic sometimes : as seen when he continu to use the same tricks against Ginga when the latter took control of the fight. Also don't forget that Reiji's beast he also Medusa who was once a human and beautifull young woman before being change into a monster. It is clear that Reiji had some sort of trauma that made him the way he is but he also seem to enjoy what he is doing: he is more mysterious and complexe than it seems.
I don't know if one is worst than the others: the damage done by Reiji wasn't as horrendous or long lasting than the damage made by Damian. The latter sent Tsubasa and Yu to the hospital right before the final (knowing that Tsubasa just finally felt a part of the team makes this even worse), he humiliated Julian in live TV (with the consequences we know, although it's implied Julian got back (most) of his wealth by the end of Masters), but still. He is also partially responsible for Kyoya's lone lion arc in metal fury, because of the fight in ep 100.
I personnaly liked both as villain but I think Ginga's explicitly pitying Damian makes him more sympathetic.

@@Seasonal-Shadow_4674 I didn't say he was excusable. I said that in the show, Ginga actually and explicitly refers to Damian as "victim" and in a way he is. Hovewer Reiji doesn't have the same treatments ence why I said Damian seemed more sympathetic. Also trying to analyse or understand a characters doesn't necesaraly mean you agree with their phylosophy.

Reiji was in that moment, more unhinged than Ryuga. At least Rugo will make you defeat quick. If he feels like it. Riji the other hand. Well torture someone just for a sake of it.

Not all of Gingka's friends won, i mean they did win from the other dark nebula bladers, but then they all got defeated and hospitalized by ryuga eg Kyoya, hikaru, tsubasa
I still don’t think Julian deserved it tho. Bit sadistic to want him to be tormented, he fell when losing to Gingka and Dashan.
Reji's known victims are: Kenta Yumia and Hiyoma
And I have observed that exact same sentiment about Hiyoma
I'd say Reiji is more evil than Ryuga. Ryuga at least gets battles done and mainly wants to show how insanely powerful he is and is at least fun as hell to watch, Reiji just cares about pure torture and sadism and is someone that needed to go down. Reiji is the only Dark Nebula blader (besides Doji technically) that I consider truly evil: Ryuga was corrupted and possessed throughout the season, and the other bladers weren't evil or even that "bad", just there (I know Tetsuya was scummy, but he was more of a clown than a threat). And looking at the final frame of Metal Fusion, with everyone jumping in the air and Reiji just walking away, he's forever a scumbag and he's not reforming anytime soon, and that's fine
I absolutely loved this saga. One of the reasons why Metal beyblade is the best. It was very well narrated by Doji, "Gingka and his friends can laugh all they want but the real show starts now". We all thought it was good and all and BOOM. Reiji wasn't a misguided naughty boy. He was legit evil and dark. He was strong and knew how to hunt. The Dark move was AWESOME. This battle followed by Ryuga deep frying Hikaru really set the tone going forward. A level of darkness we never knew was introduced. And not only this, but you'd expect Kenta, the next "hero" after Gingka to avenge him by beating his polar opposite Reiji but he got butchered too. Beyblade did not hold back. Elite arc

Reiji could very well be the most evil Metal Saga villian. It's either him or the Hades trio.
I think the poison wasn't actual poison in the general sense but more of the opponent bey getting weaker and weaker due their parts being torn off by Poison Serpent's fusion wheel and that effects the bey over time, they sorta explained this during the Libra vs Serpent fight when Libra couldn't use inferno blast
Same, Poison is an analogy for scraping the opposite bey in a subtle way from the get go, so the enemy doesn't know they're screwed from the first contact, like a bite
that was actually the canonical explination reiji actually tells this to yu in their fight the described poisen is the small fragments being toon off the beys slightly ofseting their balance making them weeker
I always will say the Kenta vs Reiji battle was far worse. I know the hyoma battle was horrible. But imagining someone destroying a little kid’s bey to the point that it was defeated and the opponent wasn’t satisfied of destroying so he keeps destroying it. Kenta passed out to the bey stadium and Reiji kept destroying sagitario. That’s pretty bad if you tell me. Even though, i give both Kenta and yu credit for fighting back with a broken bey and no claws. But the ending to it was bad.
honestly i feel kenta vs reiji was way more crushing and brutal because unlike hyoma who did lose his cool early-ish in teh fight kenta kept getting back up and strengthening his spirit to get it repeatedly broken although kenta was more composed at the end of the fight then hyoma you also need to bare in mind doji also ordered reiji to make kentas defeat more antagonising and painful to make ginka squirm, so although hiyoma was shown to suffer more psychologically in his battle i personally be leave kentas battel with reiji was more twisted and brutal

Facts man, he was my favorite character too in the entire Beyblade Metal Saga series. People said that the battle between Damian and Julian Konzern was the most humiliating one, but this was definitely the 1st, the way how Reiji Mizuchi destroyed his Bey and made Hyoma shriek in despair pissed me the fuck off in that episode.
After losing to doji he never battles again

julian vs damian was worse than this in my opinion
Yeah because of the mental humiliation that Julian had to endure, physiological damage is way more harder to get past compared to physical. And the fact that Julian’s family assets were incorporated into hades inc. didn’t help either. At least with reiji it was just the bey that was destroyed, sure he tried to destroy the bladers spirit too but kenta and yu still continue to battle after their fights.
