Nice soaking my Buckwheat...can't wait to try it!!
Me made this one, very delicious. We’ll definitely be making it again.
Yum!! Can't wait to try!!!!
Wow! Can’t wait to try this😋
We love this bread
Thank you Mercy for sharing!!!🍞
This is amazing. Thankyou Mercy. I will definitely make this.
Even my toughest critic liked it! Yum. Will definitely be making it again. Wondering if other pseudo grains can be used for those that can't eat or don't like the taste of buckwheat?
I tried quinoa and amaranth but it did not made a good bread
Hi Mercy. Amazing recipe. I was looking for something like this and you have done all the work for us. As a feedback, it raised beautifully - it actually overflew the loaf tin - but I added some additional heat (below 40 degrees Celcius) to help it.
I need to confirm something with you though. In the video, after you add the lemon and before you add the rosemary, you add something. Is is the remaining salt that was stuck?
Glad you liked it🙏🏼
There's no sourdough starter in the recipe and I didn't see any added so what's up?
I also noticed that she didn't put any sourdough starter.
she doesn’t know what real sourdough means
she used yeast and it’s bad for your gut 😢
How is this sourdough if all your using is buckwheat ? Also, I noticed that in the ingredients list you did not add rosemary? Can you explain how to buy and make buckwheat for a beginner and full recipe with rosemary
Buy organic hulled buckwheat and see an earlier video to how to sprout than follow the recipe, you can add 1/2 tsp rosemary ground but is not necessary
Thank you for the recipe. How long do you soak the buckwheat groats?
12 hours soak, 12 hours sprout, see an earlier video about sprouting
Thnkyou. I will look for that video. @@besthealingfoods9618
Can you show ingredients in a list in the screen. Thanks.
@@dushiyantgunatilake3668 ingredients are in the description
@@besthealingfoods9618 Thanks blessings from Henegama SDA church Sri Lanka
Can you use organic buckwheat flour? If so how much flour?
It would have to be hulled sprouted buckwheat flour I would try 2 cups
I only had small loaf pans and had to split the loaf in 2, should I still cook for 75 min?
I would cook it for 60 minutes
@@besthealingfoods9618 I shortened it and checked at 40 and 60, they were not all the way done so I did end up going to 70-75 even in the small pans
How is this sourdough if all your using is buckwheat ? Also, I noticed that in the ingredients list you did not add rosemary?
She added yeast just before the Rosemary. She doesn't know what sourdough means.
Can you use the buckwheat flour instead?
It is possible would have to be sprouted and you would have to experiment for the ratio
Can I use buckwheat gluten free flour instead, please?
I have not tried the flour, but it is possible, it would have to be sprouted, you would have to adjust the water and flour amounts
How long did u soak the buckwheat groat?
12 hour soak, 12 hours sprout, check our video on sprouting
Whats in the 3rd dish you’re adding?
Salt, lemon and rosemary
What kind of salt are you using?
Celtic is great
What did you put in AFTER the salt, lemon juice...??? B4 rosemary?
I have the exact same question. What are you scraping in with that white spatula?
It’s the salt, just didn’t all come out when she dumped it so she scraped it
I tried it but it didn't rise for me. It tastes good. I don't know why it didn't rise though.
Probably needed a warm environment to raise
There was no sourdough starter how could it raise?
@@lindagordon2955yes everybody asking that question, but she didn’t answer that question
Mercy. Aren’t we told that sourdough is not recommended by EG White. ? But what makes it sourdough? There is only 3 ingredients. Is it because it raises for several hours??
It is “sourdough”, raises in 8 hours and we apply lemon so no harmful bacterias
Thank you.
Should you slice and freeze. ?? How long can you leave out. Or keep in frig? Thanks 😊
Btw. It’s 😋 yummy
@@valeriehobbs336 out one week the rest freeze it after slicing it
no sourdough though!
The recipe should be “Sourdough” Buckwheat bread
would it be good to add maybe half sprouted oats and some flax seeds into the mixture to be ground and sprlnkle with sesame seeds? could you also put parchment on cookie sheet and top with this to make a flater bread and maybe cook faster, think it would be good also ?
We do not use grains such as oats since grains required longer cook time
