Hey guys, Brad Litton from SimpleGuitar.com here with another guitar lesson for you on another great Green Day, Dilemma, off their album Saviors.
In today's guitar lesson we're going over how to play Dilemma by Green Day! I think this is the only song I've ever heard by Green Day that's in Drop D tuning.
To be able to play Dilemma you definitely need to be comfortable with power chords and Drop D tuning. Otherwise, the basics of the song are not that difficult.
We're going to break down this great Green Day song into the six different parts. The Intro, the Verse, the Chorus, the Tag (riff), the Bridge, and also the Solo. Have fun playing Dilemma by Green Day!

Just listened through it again and you can play it in standard tuning (which is what I always did), but I think you're right. I think they are playing it in Drop D. Thanks for pointing that out!

Lol I noticed the little fade-in filter lasted for about 23 seconds from the beginning.
Not nitpicking, but visually it may be confusing for someone first watching.
And yea, I had to go back and make sure it wasn't my phone messing up while I watched 😅

whatsername is drop d. i walk alone is also drop d but. you cn get away with playing it in standard tuning. but theres a few drop d songs greenday made people dont realize. also. your close but you have 1 chord in there that isnt part of the song. play it in an acoustic so you can hear it better.
