Man, as someone that's a MASSIVE, hardcore, Green Day fanatic, it makes me so happy and proud that so many people know the lyrics to this song and are singing along to it, despite it only being a couple weeks old
huge GD fan here. they place people in the crowd that the cameras will focus on. pretty much paid actors. its the shows producers choice, not GD's. its a kick ass song but its not that popular (yet). It has the sound that could end up blowing up though, we shall see!
As someone who works in the entertainment industry, hate to say it, but it’s all staged. This is filmed weeks before NYE. And they tell the audience they have to act abnormally happy. Always smile. And they share the song before showing up and tell them to sing along. It’s all about the image 😢
Yeah this performance in particular had fake written all over it. Couldn't agree more. Billie said in an interview that he thinks GD fans are really going to dig the new album, and it'll prob be their favorite since American Idiot.. and I'm starting to believe him 🎉❤ Can't wait!!!

@@errix And where's your proof on that? Cuz the instruments are clearly actually been played and plugged in and the vocals are clearly real too.
