  • I found this at Everything Electric North on Sunday the 26th May 2024 at Harrogate show ground, just one of the many exhibiters.

I spoke with them last year and it is a fantastic invention, bringing an all in one solution, and being portable!

Well! I live in Inverness, and I never knew!!! There have always been a couple of CPS chargers there, but they are usually either occupied or not working. I'll investigate. Thanks for this Jonathan. 👍

Great concept, but sadly not available on a pop-up basis, despite the rapid install time. We have clients who this might work for, on a 4-6 month rental basis. But the conversation at Fully Charged London suggested 3 years as a minimum contract. If that changes, we'd love to talk about using it.

Spectacular! At first sight, it looks like it might be based around the standard shipping container form factor, which would make it easily transportable. Drop the sides (which could become the parking base?), connect up and start charging. All this is supposition but, however it's done, it's a great example of lateral thinking!

      That’s pretty much it.
I had the pleasure of meeting the team at the same event last year.
      It’s a great idea.
They completed an installation at Bentley’s factory in Crewe.

Amazing tech. Seen this same last year and spoke to the team at FCL. As it’s a temporary structure it can be long term leased and all it needs is a connection.

We’ve got a permanent solar installation in Salisbury. I’ve rarely seen anyone use it as it’s not well advertised, or advertised at all. No idea what it costs as the prices are not advertised.

The brilliant thing here is even when nobody is using it, the solar and battery could still be useful. 🎉

i would like to see the grid connection: how do they get 250 kW in a car park and connected within 4 hours?

Well you might be able to charge a couple of cars at 22kw with solar power if set up in Saudi Arabia at midday, but with that many solar panels in Scotland you would be there for a month of Sundays waiting to recharge. Having massive onsite storage capacity would be essential. Like the Ukrainian colour scheme though!

I hope no NHS funding goes towards indulging this fantasy, could always incorporate a Windy Miller theme turbine for school holidays
