    So I’m curious-how long did the styling brush last? Did you need to buy a new one? I currently use Con Air Infinity Pro Hot Air Styling Tool (it blow drys my hair super well and straight as if I used a flat iron, but I don’t) I replace it once a year because the felt seems to wear down… and I only blow dry 4 times a year… I the teeth on the Infinity though are awesome and still last. Your hair glides through the ceramic teeth while the hot air dries your hair. Small sections, and go slow for minimal repeating . 🎉❤

    This is cute but that was a lot of tension on a small section of hair. It seemed like you really had to work through that section a lot before it got even close to what you were aiming for. Also why layer so many different heat protectants? Great hair and super informative video just curious!

    • @sunshineramirez7766

      She was on low heat the whole time

    • @LatriceM
      @LatriceM  Рік тому +69

      Thank you! I have really thick and kinky hair, for my hair if I don't apply tension I won't get the best results. And all the products were not for heat protection. I use a leave- in conditioner which contains keratin, that helps to strengthen my hair when applying heat. Then I use a smoothing cream (that's to be used for blowdrying hair) and a serum, to fight frizz because I have frizz-prone hair. Lastly, I used a heat protectant. I find this routine works best for my hair type which is why I use the technique and products that I do. Also all the products are lightweight, so it doesn't weigh my hair down.

      I tried this once on my hair once. It took a couple of hours and I was really happy with the results but frizzed up the next day 😢. Beautiful results but not worth the time if you deal with frizziness and I’m not sure the major difference between using a flat irons heat and a blow dryer heat in terms of possible heat damage. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Overall I enjoyed the tutorial ❤️ lovely hair

  • @Ari-fe5zt
    @Ari-fe5zt Місяць тому

    You can only use it on high heat to get smooth results and the hot plates is just like straightening your hair and it caused me some heat damage even using a leave in and heat protection. Your hair will start to feel different too a weird texture

      @LatriceM  Рік тому +8

      Nothing out of the norm, my hair naturally sheds A LOT lol! Whatever naturally sheds came out on the brush. But the brush didn't pull or snag on my hair to cause breakage. I would say to detangle your hair prior to using the brush. Hope this helps ❤

    I’ve had the Infinity Pro round brush dryer for around two years. It was pretty inexpensive and the bristles definitely don’t look like that! I blame the brush, you should look into a different brand! The quality of yours looks poor :( I wouldn’t recommend it if it looked like that at the end.
    Other than that I LOVE your hair! I’m trying to figure out which rollers work best on my 4c hair and how to maintain a blow out for a few days. Great video 💗
