- In this guide we are going to look at the Moloch species, one of the largest creatures you can find on your journeys throughout Europa.
As pointed out in the comments section, the damage resistances of the Moloch are incorrect, and should be reversed, i.e 25% is actually 75%.

I've never had any luck with turning off reactors to make creatures go away. Had 3 bone threshers attack our Barsuk for ages while we were out of ammo, eventually had to kill them with a single revolver round and lots of crowbar hits
Unfortunately this only works with the Moloch's, as their attack priority list does not contain humans, whereas the threshers do.
I can imagine someone charging out of a barsuk, crowbar raised over their head, making a war cry sound and get snapped in two lol.

Wait… are you telling me that the TENTACLES are more defended than the ACTUAL SHELL?!
I'm guessing its more that the tentacles aren't as vital to their survival, hence they're set up to take less damage. Would be my reasoning
it could be that it evolved to fend off different monsters
It might also be a swinging at air thing. Like, the tentacles are so non-rigid and have so little substance that even the most direct hit just goes right though them without doing much damage.
You could've probably included more than just the Moloch's, I liked the first video because it was comprehensive over all the monsters of a certain size range.

There is also a maloch bone wich falls off the thing and needs to be picked up off the ocean floor or the top of the submarine

Hey buddy, your damage reduction values for the body parts of the Molloch are presented incorrectly. The percentages you show are not damage reduction percentages, but percentage of damage taken. It would be good to adress this in the description of the video.
Great, if you could give a quick summary of how its calculated and what that means for the damage taken, i can add it to the description :D.
@@IronicandDead it's just you mixed up damage reduction with percentage of damage taken. Take for instance the shell: the stats shown in the wiki indicate that any internal organ damage dealt to it is multiplied by 0.1×. This means 100 internal damage would become 10 internal damage instead. What you say in the video, instead, is that the shell has a 10% resistance to internal damage, which would turn 100 internal damage to 90 internal damage.
For the resistances given in the body parts section of your video, just subtract the value you mentioned to 100% to get the actual "reduction/resistance" instead of the multiplier.

What about piercing & explosive ammo ?
Are structural damage and kinetic push afflictions? I can't find them with this icons on the wiki?
They are not afflictions that can be applied or treated. Structual damage only applies to objects that are structures and kinetic force can apply to all objects, but is a physics modifier.

Something weird happened to me, i was doing like the 4th mission in singleplayer campaign and a latcher attacked, how?!
You can go into the Abyss even on the 1st mission. At the end of the level there is a vent that will allow you to go down there.
Isn't it moloch shell? I'm 100% it is not shield!
it got changed recent update, used to be a mudraptor shield and a moloch shell. now it's just the moloch shield 🛡.
Can someone explain what karma is in the game and how it works please?!
Karma is for multiplayer, it's an Anti-griefing system. It will be applied when you attack other players.
