This is absolutely brilliant. I love the melodies and the bass is fantastic. Great volume and the accidental notes here and there add to the whole performance being really enjoyable. More please!
It is on one of my old vinyl records. Will dig it up after the move (when I can unpack them.) I think the name of the song is Siul a' Riun or something like that. You might find it on UA-cam but maybe not with her singing it.
@Lisnageeragh I am pretty sure at least one version of this song had lyrics with clock in it. A clock in those days was a valuable item indeed. To own one was a special circumstance, and to have to sell it was a sacrifice. Rod does indeed go with reel, but the female singer said clock in that case.
very nice playing - I think you could lighten up on the basses though - just give them the quick stab/light tap on the off beat and occasional downbeats - great playing on the treble side but the basses start to get a bit dominant.
That's some playing there rolupin!! 5*, I came across you trying to here the Banshee so I could learn it on the piano box, but it ain't nothing like your playing. Any more vids coming? Thanks again from sunny Scotland
Great set. I have to say, though, that I find the four-row chromatic a puzzling thing. The 3-row is the minimal instrument-every note just once and three different fingerings to cover the 12 major keys (and three for the minors, etc). The 5-row allows you to play any tune in any key using the same fingering. The 4-row is neither fish nor fowl-eight keys in one fingering, and four keys in another. If you could use the same fingering for a particular tune in either C or G, you would have to use a different fingering in D, and so on. I guess it gives you some of the flexibility of the 5-row, but I'd be interested to understand the reason behind your choice. No arguing with your playing, though. I'd happily play any form of the instrument if I could do it that brilliantly. I found this video at thesession.org/discussions/38883
Great playing. Jimmy

I think I like the way ITM sounds on the chromatic button better, actually..
May I ask you how long you practised for this? I try to play them aswell but it's hard to get the notes right at that speed.
Do you have any more videos of you playing the CBA?
genius
Great playing!! I'd *love* to know - are you playing a B-system or C-system CBA? (I can't tell when the buttons are the same colour).

혹시 러시아 합창단 계시지 않았나요?
@rolupin I've heard those are really expensive - is that true?
If you want a good quality one, then yes they are quite expensive. I almost bought a Weltmeister for about 2k and that was a great deal.
와우 정말 예술이시네요
러시아분 이시졍?

*dude thinks* Wonder if I can convince my hands to stop playing? Naah... They're too damn good.
Peace
That's an accordiola :)
