Hi I'm from Trinidad 👍. Well stephen, God has put you earth for a reason which is to teach great lesson on solidworks in every season. Please keep making more videos done stop. U are teaching well from button to top🙌👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👑
Thanks a ton for the video. Actually i was searching for this setting for long, wonder if you could help. When you hover your cursor over a command or tool a soft description window appears automatically describing the name of the tool etc. that setting is off on my Solidworks and am unable to find it. Thanks.
Anurag Shakya thanks for the feedback, glad you liked it. What you are looking for are tooltips. There is a setting to turn these on from the customize settings. Click the drop down arrow next to the gear icon at the top of the interface and click “customize...” Make sure the check mark is enabled on the “shot tool tips” option found on the first tab called “Toolbars.”
A very useful video, thank you. Also very nice presentation - i really like fast talkers, it makes listening easier. Although the Dropbox message was really distracting
If someone moved to solidworks from other software they work like knife in the butter smooth. Think the vice versa case moving from solidworks to CATIA . They will be fucked by the Beast CATIA.
This is showing an alternative way to use commands. By default you can use a command many times until you "exit" the command - meaning you can sketch 100 circles all within the circle command before you exit the command typically by hitting escape. But with this option turned on (single command per pick) you will only be able to use the command once and it will automatically exit the command. In other words you sketch one circle and the circle command is automatically turned off.Hope that helps
you just saved millions of lives man., salute !!

Poor guy. Someone should have disabled the DropBox notifications for him prior to the start of the presentation. So distracting.
David DeMaria I know right! This was the last time I ever used a conference computer and not my own
If I'd wanna TYPE instead of drawing I'd use AutoCAD ffs!!!
Thank you for explaining this thoroughly!
