I wish I had gotten it when it came out, but I just got it a year ago (I think). Since I got it so late I missed out on a lot of stuff unfortunately which really dragged the game down a lot for me, but I still enjoyed it. This was my first dragon quest game I remember I was in game stop and I picked it up out of every other ds game. I also got Lego harry Potter and lbp karting with it if i had never picked up joker I would have never got into or known about dragon quest games

I did a speedrun myself with the English version of the game and Full HD Graphics. You might want to check that one out, I use a few smarter tactics and, even though I am not as fast with the controls as this guy, my speedrun is easier to replicate :) It is 3hr 30min of actual speedrun.

Joker 3 has a pretty slow running speed too though, they improved it in the Professional version thankfully. It's more noticeable in Joker 1 since there's no riding mechanic.
I think i did but not sure anyway it was so much time ago i remember it was long as fuck and sometimes u where also clueless on what to do..but getting that golden dragon and his obscure version was one of the best moment in that game for sure
also dont forget: at the last island where u fought the boss: itss possible to fight a metal slime king:) go to the first room at 2:40:48 and call out the monster, after a time, u can get the metal king

Essayez le 3, c'est vraiment un très bon jeux, même si pour le moment y'a pas en français y'a des patch anglais, et si vous avez une 3ds hack y'a 0 raisons de pas le mettre dessus :)

This game is beatiful and dragon quest monster joker 2 eng/italian is beatiful game i play it 5 years and end a Lot of time there is a Lot of secret moster and i didin't in 5 years!!
although both games have the same gameplay etc, i believe they're both very different. the fact that in 1 there are lots of npc's to talk to and lots of man-made areas to discover, it feels a lot more like you're a part of the community, whereas 2 gets you stranded on an island and there are only a few npc's to talk to. both games feel very different and that's why i enjoy them both equally. 1's walkspeed was horrible though
All DS games can be heavily RNG manipulated, the RNG is tied to the system's clock. Which is why the run starts from the moment they launch the game. The same goes for Pokemon speedruns on the DS. You can always get perfect RNG if you know what time to set your clock at and consistently get to the roll at the same time.

I finally got my hands on a physical copy of this game and after 75 hours I finally completed the post game! I still have monsters to scout and skills to get but it’s all done and I’m so sad 😭 btw if anyone knows a reliable site where I can purchase the second game please link below! Thanks in advance
That's way faster then me, but then again I am trying to complete the game with all monsters, and skills unlike you which takes fricking forever! Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to get everything now, but I'm going to try to do as much as possible, also still haven't beaten the post game, been severely slowed down with collecting everything! I've had the 2nd one for a while, and can say I think it's a good improvement over the first, and I definitely prefer it! Can't wait to get back to it eventually! Also I would recommend eBay.

Demon-At-Arms attacks 2x so that's really cool Wulfspade ace has good stats and you don't need to scout so saves time Darkslime easy to synth, High mp and high wisdom. also super easy to synth from a cureslime + pretty much anything.
Still waiting for DQMJ2 any% run. I'm kidding (to a point). Also, is 100% impossible in this game? I heard it was because a glitch made it so you need the 100% complete monster list to get a monster that you need for 100% which you can't get without a 100% monster list.... If you DO DQMJ2, remember, some monsters have weird polygons and coding so you can walk through them. Not kidding, it has saved me from a battle or two before. An example is the jailcat. If you hit it in the center of it's side, you can walk through it. You can walk through it's face, but you will battle it anyway. I think you are in there for just long enough that it realizes "You need to battle!" but you can avoid it if you take the shorter route through its body. I have walked through platypunks before. I wanted to battle it, and it was running from me. I walked through it 2 times! So... I would see what you can do with this glitch, see if it is possible to make it consistent and if so, try to speedrun DQMJ2. It might be tas only unless you get lucky, but it is a speedrunning glitch for certain if you don't want to walk around some enemies.
@@BagzAndPresident pretty much everyone who likes playing these games. There is just more content in the Pro-Versions and it just doesn't feel right to play the standard ones because you miss so much stuff.
Great run, but I specifically remember this game making me feel empty inside after playing it. The jump from DWM2 to DQMJ was hard to stomach. The cringy localization in particular was the worst.
I feel like you don't understand how a speedrun works the whole point is to go fast not what language they're on they don't care about the language so long as it gets them high on the chart that's all that matters
