The daughter could maybe not have known her mother very long, or interacted with people who have the mom’s accent. The daughter handled it better than a lot of other US citizens who full on go and actually become the DEFINITION of rude

Kids don't care about their parents laughing at them; their parents are the past generation, and they don't care what their parents think about them. Many kids actually try to distance themselves from their parents' ways. As much as people don't want to hear that, it's just a fact. She obviously knows she has an accent; that's why she made the video. It's showcasing how different their accents are.
