I don't understand ? No drugs or alcohol on the highways anymore, These people are clean and they're still screwing up. Back in the day when I was all wired up this never happened to me.
This is exactly why I put my hazards lights on when traffic slows/stops on the highway!!!! At 70mph you are covering 104ft a second. You need all the time you can get to identify that traffic has slowed and brake. Especially, for a 18 wheeler. And for those that say, it’s against the law to use your hazard lights if it isn’t an emergency, my responses, “I’d rather get a ticket, than get killed.“
I highly doubt people arent using drugs and/or alcohol anymore. Something that has changed is the way news spreads now. We get news & info at such a speed it seems like this shit is happening more & more often. When in reality it's not we just hear about it more often now bc of our technology
I think it's the same way with cars, the manufacturer's quality hasn't fallen off all that much, It's just that everybody's least little Bitch or complain is instantly public.
Ya. You should always pay attention. 1 second of inattention, can and will cost you (and possibly others) their and your lives. Leave stuff alone and DRIVE!!!!
If you can't read English and a interpreter gives the answers to the test to get your CDL what do you expect that the democratic way especially in MN states right in the federal rule book you have to be able to read and write English to obtain a commercial drivers license????? when they do the road test the interpreter is the one's that tell the instructor
I was a crane inspector in Washington for 20 years or so. Whenever I had a new guy for training, when we were on the terminals, I always told them to watch out for Canadian semis. Most of them were driven by people wearing turbans and paying more attention to the cell phone glued to their head than their driving. Some truly dangerous drivers, they would run you over rather than stopping.
I was at Casper and the port there parked a Mexican truck because they couldn’t speak or read English. Someone had to come from Mexico and get the truck and drivers. 😂
Here in Washington state as most most states Appling for CDL you have read and understand English. Going into the the DMV resting the little booklets they provide the CDL one is in Spanish also they have signs that if you need an interpreter they provide one for testing. Many new drivers are young and not mature.Nd using phones. The US transportation secertary was to lower the CDL age to 18 yo. Glad I am retired and not driving. Now I am living on my sailboat going from Alaska t o south America. Spending time in China with my GF and her daughter..

I miss being out there after 35 years but there is no common sense anymore and nobody is paying attention ,glad I'm not part of it .
I know your right driver!
I retired last September and I guess I haven’t been away long enough because I don’t miss the bs!
First log book I had in 1979 had big red letters on the front cover:” Aim High.” Look three minutes down the road. Turn a C.B. radio on and listen.
Bright, clear day, straight road, light traffic, its easy to see how this happened, truck driven by a f@#ktard.
