@@loriirons9503 So sorry to hear of your loss. Words seem empty but if you know my story I feel your pain. Please be gentle with yourself as grief happens in waves. I don’t know a thing about sewing machines so it’s safe to have it sit and stare at me. I’m lucky that the friend I bought it from will allow me to kidnap her for a weekend and give me all its secrets! Sure hope my filming of the craft room reorganization goes smoothly and you get some laughs out of seeing how bad my hoard is. I’m finding things I thought were forever gone!!! More projects!

@@sandyevenson-hagen370 Fortunately we capture a lot of wildlife on our cameras. We have even seen a bobcat up at camp🥰Haven you ever done a blackwork? It’s only been a few years for me but I really enjoy it. Stuart went for another vaccine today. We’re hoping he doesn’t react the same as last vaccine 🥺We were afraid to do both that were scheduled so we’ve separated appointments and he’ll go back in 3-4 weeks. We both took him to the vet but when we came home he went straight for snuggles on Dad’s lap🥰

Your pooch seems to be in total bliss mode as you serenade her...loved it! I've had Spring Quaker kitted up for a while...thinking I might start it when you start Cardinal Points...blowing up my sewing space too, but waiting til it's cooler, as no central air here. My space is much smaller ( a shoe box really) worried it all won't fit back in! Good luck...you'll inspire me!

Probably will try to start my Quaker in Jan.2025 when you start Cardinal Points. I'll be pulling apart & reworking my sewing/ craft space hopefully in early September...labor day with hubby's help...so thats my primary focus then. Not sure I'll be able to find things once moved around, so sticking to smalls end of summer. Even when things are a mess, I know where they are. Once moved, organized chaos can seem more confusing? LOL...if that makes

My SIL got me a candle lamp warmer for my birthday - and some Goosecreek candles to go with - not a Strawberry Shortcake one but there is a chocolate cocoa one that smells so, so good - and a Beatrix Potter one - I think it's carrot cake...I'm saving it for fall. But man, I need to go look up the Orange one, I love citrus scents in my candles.

Love the song to your dog. I was so afraid that you were going to tip your glass of water over when showing us your things up close. I am going to start Summer Quaker on August 1st for my birthday start and I am going to do mine on 20-count Ivory Aida with DMC Floss but I have to figure out if I am going to use 1 strand or 2 strands of Floss on it. I have never used 1 strand so I have no idea on how to use only 1 strand. I am hoping that I can use 2 strands. So when you starts yours I will be thinking of you and I will do mine the same time you do yours. For the Cardinal Points Chart these are the places I looked at and they do not have it at 123 Stitch, Everything Cross Stitch, Amazon and my local craft stores. I guess it is not meant to be for me so I will enjoy watching you do yours. Good Luck with organizing your craft room. I know it is a lot of work to do but in the end it is well worth it. I am cleaning and organizing my craft room too. We are getting shades put up in the whole house so I had to move all of my craft things out of the room so when the shades are done then I can slowly move things back up from the basement and organize it the right way. Happy Cleaning and Stitching.
What a great birthday start!!! I’ll try and catch up come September. Still have a floss to find and get fabric on something…scroll frame? Cardinal Points may come back to places. Have hope! Hubby is talking about shades too but I have so much to do. Maybe next year. I hope this reorganization works! After the craft room I’ll have to show what the attic space needs. Yes, there’s MORE 😮.
