We’ve only had the cameras up and running for a short time. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxOXxsTZ3ptV_Pk0fFl8bNZvVqeoqBQFwe So far we love them! I got the outdoor mounting kit for them and they were easy to install. Once you download the app, it walks you through the very easy set up. The clarity, and range is awesome. I am thinking seriously about adding another camera or two to my 3 camera system. The price is lower than a lot of comparable systems.
I got this one solely because I wanted the parent unit and DIDN'T want to have to use my phone all the time. The Halo was my first choice, but reviews and playing with it in the store, it sucked. The ONLY thing I don't like about it is the volume up & down buttons should be swapped. Small, meaningless gripe...so we love it! Image is great too-basically does everything you need.
Thank you. I wish this Eufi had internet connection so you can still monitor your baby once out the house. Is there any like that? Means with monitor device and WiFi as well?
Can you show what the camera looks like set up and does it need to be plugged into an outlet. I'm new to baby monitors here. Are there any baby monitor cameras that do not need to be plugged into an outlet or do they all have wires? How can you tell if a camera is wireless or not on product descriptions?
Can you explain the difference between this one and the Pro version? Curious why the pro is more expensive sans a wide angle lens. Battery life I suppose? I feel like wide angle is a better feature.
The Pro version comes with a 5,200 mAh battery (instead of 2,700 mAh), which is pretty cool and requires twice less charging (> about 14h continuous display on, or 2-3 days with sleep mode activated). With the Pro version, the base of the monitor is also thicker, and allows it to stand very stable on a table.
How does the vox mode works? I have the baby monitor vb603, and when I activate the vox mode to, extend the battery life, displey goes dark and activate with noise or baby crying. Next question is, how the night vision works? You have to set it up, star function? Or it's starts automatically when the light goes off and starts the infrared light to work?
Anyone have any educated estimates on long the camera could be run from a portable power bank ? ( you know, those commonly sold travel battery packs to recharge your phone).
We are between this and the Nanit Plus. I realize they are apples and oranges, but what features does the Nanit plus offer over this that would make it a deal breaker? Also, do you use a dedicated phone or iPad for Nanit so you can have the video feed on continuously?
I think the Nanit insights you get free for the first year is an excellent reason to go with the Nanit over any non-connected monitor. Plus the ability to play back video and a whole range of customizable alert notifications.
Did you install the wall mount? I'm having difficulty installing the screws through the wall mount due to the limited space. Is a special screwdriver required?
Hello - no this monitor can not be connected to a crib. Also - it connects via radio frequency only. Lastly, the parent unit has a battery life of up to 12 hours, which I found to be fairly accurate.
Ok sorry if this question has been answered and/or asked. Say I have 2 babies in different rooms. I assume you can easily pair both to the same control unit? Also if I have one noise alert go off will it automatically link to that room (vs the room where baby is asleep)?
Hey just wanted to know if this baby monitor has battery life for when the power goes out in the middle of the night? Need to know if it will continue working.
Hey there, love your content! Can you please help me pick a monitor which comes with a parent unit but also has the ability to connect through an app on my phone? Is there such a thing where I can have both options? If it does exist, would you recommend it over a WiFi monitor??
Any baby monitors where they can see from out of state/long distance? My Boyfriend works out of state and I want him to be able to check in on her whenever he'd like.
Non wifi monitors are better for newborns. Why would you go further than 500 feet from the house with a newborn? And the connectivity is way better with non wifi. Thanks for the review.
Does your monitor has a micro sd card slot? It’s in the instruction book, but my unit doesn’t have one and I’m wondering if I got some outdated and revirados unit from amazon.
Some of the first units produced had the micro sd slot. People hoped it would be for a video recording option, but it was only designed for firmware updates and has no ability to record the video feed. It is easier to update the firmware by just connecting the monitor to your computer via USB, so the slot was removed on some models. So don't worry, you are not missing out on some great features!
Great review! Like Modestas' comment below, I'm curious about the Motorola Halo+. I'm a little torn between wifi vs. non-wifi and I think Halo+ would be a great option, but so far I haven't seen any convincing reviews. Thanks!
Thank you for the helpful reviews! I really enjoy watching your videos to help me pick out baby gear. BUT please don’t eat things like Nutter butter bars in your videos. I’m sure I am just one of many pregnant mothers watching your videos. Now I have to go to the store and buy some Nutter butters. Thanks 😅
Help! We bought the Nanit Plus for our toddler’s room and it’s been awful. He has a teepee bed so Birdseye view does not work for us. And he has night blindness so his night light needs to be pretty bright. The Nanit makes an audible clicking noise multiple times (especially at naps) trying to get on Night and Day mode. We really want a WiFi monitor that we can mount across the room but can’t see to find one that will actually work for us. We’re keeping the Nanit for our soon to be born baby so a WiFi option is super important as we would rather not be dealing with multiple parent devices.
@@Fathercraft no its not wifi..just like the Eufy. Yeah not many people have it seems, i just learned of it from a youtuber who was sent the camera for review because she had issues with her infant optics (your favorite lol)
This is the worst product I bought in ages. Didn’t even work for a trial - monitor didn’t detect the camera, while the camera didn’t get fully charged after 8h plugged in. Also, monitor battery down 1/4 after 15min. Straight to return.
This is no shade to the UA-camr who created this video. Perhaps when the Eufy monitor was first made and released to the creators they worked perfectly fine but they don’t now. Like you, I came here to watch a video and determine if the Eufy monitor was the right fit for me. It wasn’t and if you continue reading you’ll find out why. I wanted to love this monitor. I thought I’d found THE ONE. If you are in the market for a monitor sadly this isn’t the one for you. Trust me. I am so completely disappointed in this product and company for continuing to sell an item this faulty. I wanted to love this monitor so much that I really tested my patience here and went through 4 different Eufy monitors. No joke. Four. In a matter of 2 months. My favorite feature about this monitor was the VOX feature. I have found that not a lot of monitors in the market have this feature. As a light sleeper the monitor goes idle, no background noise, and with VOX an alarm goes off as soon as my baby started making noises. As a parent of a newborn I got great sleep because of this feature. The first one worked wonderfully in the beginning but then the alarm started going off ALL the time even when baby was sleeping. It seemed to go off at any noise like his sound machine, bass from our tv in another room, lawn mower.. everything. That’s when I exchanged for a new one. The next 3 wouldn’t hold a charge at all. I’d plug them in and the battery would never get full again. Even while plugged the monitor would no longer stay on. At the third monitor I called Eufy and told them the situation. They quickly replaced it and that’s how I got to try a fourth monitor. Their customer service was great, responsive, & understanding but even the replacement didn’t work. Eufy, I’m not sure why you continue to offer this product. You should really consider pulling it from all retail stores because it’s clear something went wrong at manufacturing this product. No parent of a newborn should have to deal with a defective product like this. Not only are we sleep deprived but we don’t have time to go back and forth with a product that is known to not work properly. Please consider discontinuing the sales of this item & working on a new manufacturing of the battery on your monitors because the ones on shelves are duds. All of them. Steer clear of this item. Don’t consider it unless you want a headache and to spend what little free time you do have returning or exchanging this monitor.
Forget features and address harmful radiation from monitors. WiFi are the worst offenders. Fhss next. But fhss is more secure. The big question is which ones turn off when the parent unit is off. The best are audio 49mhz but those can be hacked easily.

Hello how to keep the monitor on?
I bought this, and it lost signal on the way to the room next door. I don't know if I have thick walls or what. But no signal. Had to return it.
does it record video feed?

Yep, basically any wifi monitor will do. Recommend checking out Nanit, Miku, Lollipop
can the camera also work on battery, like the monitor can, or does it need constant power supply to work?
