A visit to Derby - 6201 PRINCESS ELIZABETH Failed at the station.

6201 PRINCESS ELIZABETH was due to come off the Chaddesden curve and head the return working of the 'Sunday 28th August 2016 - Kings Cross to Matlock & Peak Rail' The Cathedrals Express.
Sadly due to an issue with a connection between the tender and locomotive she was left at derby as class 47, 47746 CHRIS FUDGE (named after a Rail and beer festival enthusiast who died of a brain tumour in June 2010 aged 39) took over the run back to London Kings Cross. - Розваги

in case you didn't know now the problem was the junction she had been pathed to use was too tight for the locomotive this caused the water feed pipe on the tender side to snap meaning there was no way of getting water into the boiler rendering the locomotive stranded

Failures occur to everyone. Thankfully, they don't happen too often.

In this case 6201 sheard a connection on the water hose under the tender so it wasnt possible to feed the boiler.
As I understand it, she was dragged back to west shed and soon repaired.

Yea, they're great.
Worth noting that the Princess is a 7P and not an A1 but both classes are very impressive.
The rails look like some third world country..
