a hidden guitar god. It takes some real effort to find him. One has to sift through a ton of bad jokes and goofy experiments. In the end, the search is worth the effort.

Zappa plays amazing stuff. But his solos don't have a beginning, middle, end -- they don't "tell a story". This keeps him out of the top tier of guitarists, for me.
